It looks like this motion sensor connects easily with the Ring app and system and that it integration is exactly what it needs to be. My experience with Ring products has been super because of such consistency and the way that these products work so well together. I am only now venturing into outdoor lighting, so thanks for the video.
Hi, have you been able to test it on a hot summer day? In the summertime, my current outdoor sensor triggers a lot of false detections. First I thought it was caused by direct sunlight, but after some (limited) testing, I have the impression that the sensor "sees" the movement of warm air going upwards. It is mounted on my driveways and when the concrete warms up, hot air moves upwards and triggers false alarms
Thanks for the video! Ring Customer Support says that the motion sensor does not work with the Ring Floodlight Cam (even if you buy the bridge). But you are saying that you got it to work with your Floodlight Cam. Would you please let me know if you have the Floodlight Cam Pro or Plus? Thanks!

Does this only turn on the light or does it activate the camera?
