I got the Ring bridge with 4 light bulbs on sale during Amazon days. The bridge is tiny and I took advantage of the USB port on the Ring alarm home base for power. I really like the easy set up, ease of use using the app, and how everything can be linked together. Overall it’s a great ecosystem.
I want to know about the ability of the Ring Alarm system (e.g. the base station) to schedule smart light switches when you are away from home. Can it do that?
Is the "ON" setting PERMANENT, till you turn them off, or do they turn off after a certain amount of time the same as if it detected motion. I'm trying to find a backyard lighting solution that doesn't require hard wiring or smart string lights. Thanks!
Wow that’s a beautiful community your home is in...got those European villa vibes going on. Never seen that before. Are you still using these or did you mostly set up for review purposes?
Hi Ring Users, I have question about Ring Bridge. Does the Bridge works without having any Ring Light products. I need my Ring Video doorbell to start recording a little faster by installing a Ring Motion Sensor that detects motions few metres away, sends signal to the Ring App by connecting to Ring Bridge. Will this works without any Ring Light products?
Yes that should work. You will need the Ring Smart Lighting Motion Detector though, not the standard one that links to the ring hub. The Smart Lighting Motion sensor will link to the ring bridge and give you the ability to do that in its settings.
Another excellent video Steve. I was just wondering if the Ring echo system (well these items) were compatible with Google?? I know I prefer the nest hello or this new doorbell (Bluarms doorbell), if it could connect to those?? Thank you an thank you for your timely response
Steve is there no way to share lights with other users? I also noticed that you need 2 or more lights in a group in order to link the light to your cameras for motion detection? WTF? LOL

Lights are good just subscription for alarm and doorbell pricy.

Do I still need the bridge if I have a echo hub and a ring gen 2 security system?

what if your pathlight sensor doesnt have good wifi reception? how can it communicate to camera to record?
Does this bridge work with the ring security system as well?I wonder if it can replace the security system range extender?
Regarding using the motion sensors on these lights to trigger your cameras to record earlier.... does this work in the day time as well?
You got more cameras and lights then a prison.

Wait a minute. You are recommending Ring but have vivant for a security system.🤔

No way to share access to turn the lights on and off from the app. You can share everything else but not the lights lol
