The only person I felt bad for was Gerrard. He spent so long at the club when he could have gone to a better club. There was also a lot of pressure and emotions because it was the 25th anniversary of Hillsborough. He felt the most pressure because he was not only the captain of Liverpool, he is also a family member of one of the 96. (His 10 year old cousin, two years older than him, was the youngest to die. They were both footballers, and after his cousin died the rest of the family especially his grandparents pushed all their hopes and expectations on him.) I think the pressure and emotion of the whole situation got to him and made him lose his focus toward the end of the season.

We didn't lose the title, it was never ours. We needed to tie vs Chelsea and win the rest to win the title, but Liverpool played beautiful football for the fans and were unlucky. We have been carried through this season by our top quality strikers and forwards, and Jamies right, because the forwards were scoring 4,5 and even 6 goals in some games so they could be naturally shit and let in a few, but they were caught of guard today.

I'm a Chelsea fan and i do feel sorry for the Liverpool fans and the team. Having a 3-0 lead and going 3-3 must hurt especially with the League coming to an end and when your at top of the league. But in all honesty, i don't remember the last time Liverpool has a clean sheet. Or two clean sheets. They've conceded so many goals its ridicilous. Palace, Man U, Hull have all conceded less goals than Liverpool and that says something. Liverpool got really close, maybe next season.
