      i actually wanted to make a first person body cam shooter inspired by Deppart and the unnamed video that showed how fire worked. I want to create several games and i feel that this engine is the best place to start. If you have any suggestions of ones you feel are better with your experience that would be much appreciated.

      Unreal is good for games. If you want to cinematics you can use even better engines like Vray as someone else said blender is great for that purpose too.

      Blender works effectively for video and film production. For my games, I primarily create models in Blender and then import them into UE5.

    Started getting into UE4 2 years ago. Finding tutorials that were not out of date because of all the updates was a pain. Something would always be different from my versions.
    I did make some progress but put it aside and waited for UE5. So I am very excited to follow your future tutorials. Thanks for all your hard work.

    Just want to let everyone know that Quixel Bridge Plugin 35:00 can be missing in UE5. It is a current bug that Epic is working on fixing. Until then you can install it either through the marketplace (just search for the plugin and install it to engine) or they should be shortly patching this bug

      Quixel is working perfectly with the latest update of UE5.

    • @philomorph7
      @philomorph7 2 года назад

      I have the opposite problem. I just installed UE5.01 and Quixel works fine, but I can't get Marketplace to open inside the editor. Nothing at all happens when I try to open it, either through the "add" button or through the Window menu. I can go into the Marketplace through the Epic Games Launcher only, so I guess it's not a big deal, but I usually launch the editor directly through the project shortcut and don't even open the Epic launcher. Anyone else seeing this?
