    Hi, Limey. When you showed the Roman and Gothic columns, it got me wondering, over how many years was the building of the Abby going on. Very interesting. Thanks. *TYU*

      Absolutely... If there was a change in style and the years we're only 10 to 20 years was the other side an alteration or did it take them 10 years to build.

      It took 60 years to build Boyle Abbey so it explains the difference influences on the arches.
