Yes, the witches were the show, but I see a future opportunity for kite fliers. It was a fun day. I would have liked to have all my stuff in the air. Next time perhaps.
Right off the bat, that is the strangest flotilla I have ever seen . I was so concerned Cherie was out on the water somewhere on one of those boards until I spotted her at the end of the line. So pleased to see her smiling and enjoying the fun. Your bat kite was certainly flying in the right place.
The whole trip was the first for us after her illness. It went well. We had both bats, a zombie and a witch to fly, but the winds did not favor it, owing to turbulence. Next year, who knows, we might go in costume too!
What an amazing event, Glenn! I particularly liked the dragon boat full of witches, which looked very threatening. Good to see Cherie back in action, and your Bat looked great, if a little lonely. We know all about bad wind conditions here, and there's very little flying going on compared to previous years. I was lucky to get half an hour or so to put up my Halloween display (a few days early), but nearly missed out on it altogether.
They really came out in force, Jim. Cherie is back at it, though cautious. I brought a number of themed kites, but the wind direction conspired against us. I hope to get some other fliers interested in doing something next time, now that I am thinking of it. Take care my friend.
Which witch is which? I didn't know you had so many witches down your way. A very cute bat kite. Too bad; your black witch couldn't make an apperance. It would fit right in for such an event...
It was not for want of trying. We put up the lifter, but the wind was turbulent. The wind curled around the tock. Grrr! Nothing would behave. Even the bat was lively. Perhaps with more planning, something could be done. At least we are back in the world again, Jim.
Ich habe noch nie so eine Halloween Show gesehen. Tolles Festival. Schönes Wochenende.
Danke!
The witches have taken over Moro Bay. What a strange but interesting sight. Your lone bat is watching, making sure that everybody is safe.

That's a riot! What a fun time, Glenn. Gives a little insight into the community out that way. Love the crew the best.
A good time was had by all Michael. It would please me if kiters could make this a thing, next time.

Happy Halloween, Glenn!
Appreciated!
Love the quirky enthusiasts of this crew. Always take time to talk to the person at the end of the line...they are good people
