I didn't know Hasbro was still sending out replacement White Ranger helmets until watching this video. Put in a service request that day and got my helmet today!
Sad realization that after this we will most likely only have a completed team video for Lost Galaxy, and SPD (even though technically we will be one short), and then maybe a wrap up of the odds-and-ends that will be left without their teammates. Time Force team (insane this team started in 2019 and wont be even halfway completed), Wild Force, and the freshly started Turbo and Light Speed Rescue teams. + all the other newer seasons too.
My expectation is that the RPM Rangers could get the combining weapons again, especially with how simple the Enforcer can be combined in much the same way as the Power Blaster. Sure, Operator Yellow doesn't have her Zip Charger, but a Plan B can be found with Operator Blue, whose Turbo Cannon is the central block of the combination.
This has the potential to be the biggest set because all 5 also have their super dino mode, then the triassic ranger, AND the battleizer. Plus, the foot soldier, and henchmen
I got a White replacement helmet less than two months ago. I found the product number and their complaint page where you can put in your address and info with your complaint. I didn't even get a response back, I immediately got a tracking number email and it came in about a week and a half. Very nice since I found it used like a year ago and just learned about the helmet thing lol.
I have cut the holster for their blasters and it fits perfectly. You just have to feed the holster part in between the blade and it should hold just fine. If they were to release this team again as their super Dino mode as a full team pack, not multiple waves, I would buy them.
I'd only buy it if hasbro gets their act together and stops the consistent inconsistency and their QC issues. I'd love to have those modes and the Triassic ranger, but not with their current state of QC, consistency, and many teams being unfinished(seriously time force only has two members since 2019 when one of the team is a tweaked version of Red) and not having the accessories they should(no V blasters with time force, lightspeed blue missing his lance in both forms, and arguably his 2nd blaster). Also timeforce blue being done so dirty with how poorly put together his figure was, it doesn't feel like hasbro actually cares.
I am happy to be done this set (for now). Some foot soldiers would be good. Only thing I’d change, and I said it in my Mesogog review video, I wish he came with his Dr. Mercer head/hands.

To follow up on what I said in the Max solarZord review: I actually did find someone named Hayden who has been on Power Rangers, and he’s actually the actor who played Ryan Mitchell as a kid. how I missed this, I don’t know.
It took awhile but it got there. It's the most frustrating least frustrating collection of figures. But in the end it's a solid looking representation of the team. It feels a little cursed with DT White. Legacy DT White had visor issues as well. Holster - You could trying boiling water to soften the plastic and then shove the blaster in deeper. Bandai had this problem as well with the legacy line. In the show they wrap around the blaster which at this scale isn't going to work. Hasbro hasn't gotten it to work with Marvel Legends or Star Wars. The Gi Joe team as wisely avoided it.
What they need to do in the line is make a complete wave for foot soldiers from different seasons. Like 4 different army builders for a wave would be awesome
In regards to cutting the holster, I did that slice along the back of the holster, closer to the leg, and it laces through the blaster perfectly, Holds it in place with no fault
Strangely enough I also said that Conner's head sculpt looked a bit like Gary from the movie Team America. It would be awesome if Hasbro make a Lightning Collection figure for the Dino Thunder Phantom Ranger as well as the Triassic Ranger. What do you think dude?😎👍

@@17samuraispiritred cause hes from the super sentai equivalent he’s not even a ranger character he’s a super sentai character but that’s not the same ninja con is an unofficial character who has never had an on screen power rangers appearance as he’s part of super sentai not power rangers but here’s the thing the phantom ranger is an official power ranger character but he’s never made a guess appearance or cameo in Dino thunder specifically but has appeared during the shows long standing run as he was first introduced in power rangers turbo then his next appearance was a cameo appearance in the power rangers in space show but never once did he appear on Dino thunder thus he can’t be considered a Dino thunder character where ninjacon just never appeared period in the actual televised world of power rangers he doesn’t exist it was an unofficial character that grew to such infamy that hasbro caved in an made a figure of him cause they knew it would be an ez cash grab

Zeo got shafted on combining weapons, too, as did In Space. And I have a *HORRIFICALLY BAD* feeling that Lightspeed Rescue will suffer the same fate. In all those cases, the problem is that the combined blasters for those teams also required the use of the sidearms - the Astro Blasters can't separate into the top & bottom parts, the Rescue Blasters likely won't have the removable grips, and the Zeo Laser Pistols can't even open up to combine with the Zeo Laser Swords, nevermind the individual weapons for the Zeo Blaster. No idea what Hasbro's excuse is with Dinothunder. Too lazy to work in the transformation schemes??
The thing is, they only needed to make two additional pieces at least to make the main blaster, 3 if they wanted to cheat/make it simple and just make the piece needed for the drago sword and brachio staff all molded together(so your brachio staff and drago sword get put to the side). But Hasbo loves to cheap out on accessories, so it's not surprising.
I'm annoyed they didn't include the V-Lancer for Lightspeed Blue. So either the entire team goes without or we're gonna have another Lost Galaxy situation
Hey! As per your question about the cutting the holsters: it works! I hated the way they fit in originally. If you cut a slit on the front part, the fit is how it should be. It might not seem to tight, but I shook my figures around and the gun does not fall out. Great video as always!
Ended up buying two reds cause of thr holster. Cut the holster on one and wasn't too pleased, luckily found a red on sale so have a sword for yellow now. Anywyas decided it's best to cut the blade on the blasters and make peg holes to reattach them using thing wire. Hola pretty well just have to make it look cleaner on the others
Dying to get this line. Just started collecting MMPR and got my hands on the alien rangers set on sale along with Zeo Gold (finally) and Magna Defender. I've had legacy Green and White since their og release at least.
I have the Walgreens in space silver ranger But I did also mention that during your in space video as well Also dino thunder white was a Walgreens exclusive Did not know That
I'm happy with what we got with dino Thunder. I wish we would get his 2 generals and a few of the foot soldiers tho. A Triassic ranger would be cool but not necessary and the super dino modes I could easily live without
I completely forgot to get the White Dino Thunder helmet replacement for my figure when I got it. I just kept using gundam markers to draw it on since the mold was there just not the black outline.
dino thunder was complete for me with just having the core 3 rangers never wanted to Walgreen's exclusive white ranger with the unfinished helmet or dino thunder black, I am content with just the trio to have thier unique weapons a feature missing from the original Bandai America figures
There actually is more than one lighting collection red dino thunder ranger I'm not sure if it even has a Connor head but it was like his weird slightly armored mode I'll be back with and edit when I find what the name exactly was
I was planning to collect lightning collection but the lack of paint and details is just hurts for someone who pays attention to details and expects something straight out from the show i hope they fix these and improve from there hasbro should get hit in the head and fix these figures fr
yeah power rangers lightning collection is a bs line as hasbro has shown us what they can do with there price range ie star wars the black series and gi joe classified series witch those 2 lines for the most part are fantastic but it feels like power rangers is a after thought and has the worst qc and it sucks because the body's they are using now are great

The phantom ranger is from turbo not dino thunder

Sadly there is no need to worry about if Lightspeed getting a combined weapon because the line is either going on hiatus or straight up ending.

The back-of-box renders also slipped up by showing fully-painted Morphers on the wrists. Even S.P.D. Omega didn't escape that one...
