And even these white bristle brushes do have the masking fluid stuck up. In that case I pour a few drops of some nail polish remover/stain remover in a small plate and slowly turn and twirl the brush. The rubbery masking substance on the brush becomes soft and can be now easily removed.

I’ve also heard some artists dip the brush into a tiny bit of dishwashing liquid before dipping into the masking fluid ..

Hi Geoff. Just thought I would give you a tip, I’ve found that there are sets of silicone brushes that are brilliant for masking.I got mine from Hobbycraft, but should be able to get them from art shops.

Hi Geoff, I'm doubting myself, I was convinced I saw a tutorial of yours where you taught how to use the masking fluid to paint bushes with soft edges but I can't find it in your videos. Am I completely wrong or was it once online?

Can you replace masking fluid with pva glue?

I never use anything for masking fluid just count to 20 and wash the brush out use again and never have damage on the brush
