- This is an 1H FVG With 5min Entry strategy.
I am giving you the exact entry that I am using for my trades as well. Or I shall say one of my entries.
This trading strategy is a very high probability strategy and it combines only two time frames! The 1 hour time frame and the 5 minute time frame.
You identify an 1H FVG while you also identify your bias. Then you wait for price to reach into your 1H FVG and then you take the trade on the 5 minute time frame, as I am showing in this video.

Chris, two more questions -
1. If price closes outside of a 1H FVG even by a micropip, does the setup become invalid or is it ok as long as it’s only just closed outside of the 1H FVG?
2. Do you find that only trading an inverse FVG (or double FVG as some say) on the m5 improves your results?
3. Have you tested this same thing but entry on a lower timeframe eg M2?

Happy that you like it! It used to be small, but nowadays from 10 - 20 pips
20 is a quit large, but this month (December) is not a good month to trade, so yes, I get the need for 20 pips.

Thank you 🙏. You either go for the first one, or you have very specific rules on what you want to see on a lower time frame. Then, regardless of which FVG is tested, you enter only when your lower time frame rules are confirmed
Hey Chris, just to confirm then - you do not need to worry about premium / discount? As long as you’re trading in line with the H1 trend, you can take the nearest H1 FVG and look for a setup on M5 once price mitigates this?
Hello, on Nasdaq you do not need to worry about premium/discount at all!! Most of the times, when in a strong trend, price just mitigates an 1H Fvg or any FVG that you are interested in and goes ;)
@@ChrisFXOriginal yeah I agree, same with FX too eg EURUSD. Main thing to consider is achieving the min RR to the high or low. What threshold do you use? I think on this video you say 1.5R then others you mention 2RR or 3RR. I am thinking of going for min 1.5RR and then if I’m below that I can adjust the entry higher / lower to achieve 1.5RR. What do you think?

It depends. Sometimes it is better to have a tight one since you increase the RR. Generally speaking I will agree with you though 👌

what is the equally combination in intraday plays ? can we do 1 minute and 30 minute combination ?? waiting 30 min fvg and 1 min enterences and confirms ? becayse 1 hour is way too long intraday plays thanks
You can do any combination that you have tested and that you have sent works!

Absolutely. Killzone hours do not play any role with those strategies!
