Albufeira is god out of the summer. Mertola is an old mourish village, and very beautiful but very quiet. Olhão is one of the best places to eat seafood. Lisbon is my birth city, lots of light and friendly people. Lagos is the second best beautiful city on Algarve, the queen is Tavira. Sintra is amazing but too crowded in the summer, winter is the best time to visit the monuments. Porto is my favorite city in Portugal, to eat is top.
Thank you! I can't wait to go back one day and spend more time in the places - when it isn't so hot! We struggled in Porto because of the crowds and couldn't get into the restaurants!
