  • Today, I explore my newest bag, the Peak Design Sling 10L version 2 and what it can carry. Will it fit the RF 100-500? And perhaps an additional lens? How about a laptop? This bag has become my favorite around town bag with good reason.

Literally the question I was looking for answered, thank you.
How does the shoulder strap feel carrying this weight for a full day? It's a similar setup I plan, but doesn't the strap isn't very padded.
Also curious if it folds "flat" for easy packing when traveling.
    Thank you.

Sorry for the delay. Did you see both moment and peak design have their slings in sale for Black Friday? The shoulder strap is comfy despite being lower profile. It has a conforming spongy feeling that works for a full day. A backpack is better for heavy stuff with two straps but not as accessible. It can be folded to compress size but not totally flat. Enough for a suitcase or just empty it and pack it full of socks or whatever. I think it’s a good bag for a minimal kit

Was looking for a bag that accommodates my R5, RF 100-500, and RF 14-35. This looks perfect, thanks!

Hi Matthew, may be some chemical sunscreens' component reacted with the bag's fabric causing those bleach like spots, thus there is nothing you can do about that.
If that's not the case you can try massaging or rubbing gently some talc\baby powder on it, then warmup that area using a phon, wait a minute or so and finally brush away the talk.
the talk should absorb the greasy part of the sunscreen lotion on to your bag , and rehetaing the area helps the process of absorption done by the talk. I hope this helps !
    Thanks for your video !!

Useful video! However I want one that can fit my sony mirrorless camera plus the 90mm macro lens, May be throw in a flash too. Do you think it can fit all of that??

I wish I had all the brand kits to test for you! Maybe someday 😉 I do think the 10L will fit that without an issue. The sony bodies are smaller than canon and the 90mm macro is much smaller than the rf 100-500 so you should have plenty of room for the added flash. Stored vertically you might even get another lens in there.

@@MatthewRaifman thanks Matthew! The norcal heat waves are not helping much with bird photography these days! Have to bear this heat for couple more months or so!!

The Peak Design V2-6L will fit a Sony camera [A7 series], a 90mm macro lens, and an on-camera flash.
