I stopped on your video because your hair looks like mine. I had cut my hair short into a pixie a couple years ago. I have been growing it out since last summer. 🥴 I have been rocking a low pony bcuz I am a super lazy natural lol, it is growing bcuz I am a little past shoulder length. I never use heat and I have an idea that pulling it back kinda trains it to be straighter than the rest. I don’t think it’s always heat damage. That’s why our hair isn’t as curly as the other sections.
You know what….. I never thought about it like that but it makes sense now! I’m gonna try my best to cut back on the low back bun but it’s just sooooo easy to do lol.
