3:22 After seeing other tutorials for working with VR Comp editor (previously Mettle) in AE I saw they actually recommend switching to precomps and final comps from withing the actual VR comp editor tab, right were you added a 2D Edit. Open Output/Render or Edit. Well done!
It's strange that the PremierePro plugin doesn't seem to work seamlessly with the latest versions of AfterEffects. In my case, I get a pop-up error message when launching AfterEffects, though it appears that insv files still work after importing. However, it's generally recommended to render them in Insta360 Studio beforehand and then edit the mp4 videos in AfterEffects.
Hey Gaba, do you have a tutorial explaining how to make yout own nadir VIDEO logo? I have a short animated logo which I'd like to use to remove myself holding the camera. Thanks!
Hi, I have quite an old video about the technique you can apply in your case. This tutorial is more about titles and graphics, but you can work with video layers the same way in Premiere Pro. ruclips.net/video/UnTQFXkKsQY/видео.html Long story short: Simply drag and drop your nadir video on the timeline, pick the "Plane to Sphere" effect and move it on the X axis (on the "Rotate Projection" tab) to the bottom. (I hope, after watching my video, too, you will know what I mean!) 🙂 But if you have any further questions, feel free to ask!
I've been working with your Photoshop tutorial with no issues but I've recently come across some trickier footage that needs after effects. I've tried following along a few times but each time my unified camera tool isn't working. Any ideas why that might be?
It sounds weird, because it must be as easy as in Premiere Pro. After dragging and dropping the insv file you should see the stitched video, just like in Premiere. 🤔
@@GabaVR Importing into Premiere Pro works fine, but not After Effects - I've un-installed After Effects and re-installed it, and still can't import insv files. Is there a setting somewhere that I need to change? I can't find any information anywhere as to why it won't work!
how do you import insv files into after effect?
using the stamp tool correction should be frame by frame or is there a way to automate it for all frames?

@@GabaVR thanks Gaba 4 the Quick answer really! I'll try that up and take a look at your video!
Unfortunately not working any more.. the stamp tool seems to do nothing
Very good. Thank you!
Really helpful, thank you!

I always have black spot on the top and bottom after video is saved(rendered). How do you change this
I came right. Attention to detail lol New comp from selection was what i was doing wrong i skipped that
That’s right! It’s very important to match project settings with the 2:1 aspect ratio.
Working with 360 videos, every small step matters 🙂
I can't import my insv files to After Effects. Am I missing something? After effects doesn't let me drag them/import them in...
Do you have Insta360 Studio and the Adobe plugin installed on your computer?
@@GabaVR yes, I have both the Insta 360 studio and the Adobe plugin installed - and the latest version of After Effects
