We read totally different genres. But I just love how you give detailed reviews about the books you love, some of which I’ve added to my TBR 🤭. I think you give the people info in a way that would make them try something new!
Lol I’ve definitely noticed from watching your videos that we are on totally different ends of the spectrum but I still enjoy hearing what you like nonetheless. Thank you for being so kind girl, also I hope you pick up one of my suggestions I know you’ll love it.
I've never read Ferrante but she sounds like an interesting author. It seems as if she's in the same sort of style as Anita Brookner, who you may enjoy reading. Brookner writes very intensively about relationships - both platonic and physical and what motivates us to make the decisions we do.
@@jadeddiamonds9983 finished it last week and, surprise! You were so right. I read the last chapter in the airport, closed the book, and shook my head for 30 minutes afterwords. Can’t wait to read the next one
You always have such good recs and summaries. I LOVE when you share how the novels reflect moments of your life- so relatable. Please continue to share what you think about the books in your vlogs. I do shy away from spoilers but your content is excellent! Please don't change a thing.
Lol ok!! I’ve been out off from spoiling just because I see how much people hate it when others spoil in other videos. But I do have to remember, it’s my channel lol and if they don’t like it they don’t have to watch. So the spoil continues 💪🏾😂. Also thank you for always being si kind and sharing your thoughts on my videos. It means so much to me 💙
Great list! Stoner is also one of my top novels and Piranesi was lovely. I'd probably want to read one of my favourite Iris Murdoch novels for the first time 🤔
Sayaka Murata's "Earthlings" would be one "wish I could read it for the first time again," but the re-reads are fine too 👍 I had completely forgotten about Silverstein 😮 thanks for the reminder 👍, that goes back to my childhood which was when he was being published 👍
I gotta add Earthlings to my TBR for sure now. I’ve been meaning to pick Murata up. I believe it was Convenience Store Woman that put her on my radar. You’re welcome with Silverstein, he’s the best ever. Also I couldn’t remember what it was that he did other than write so I looked it up. Did you know he also wrote songs and won a Grammy?

I gotta pick up a Brookner. I’ve been hearing this creator called the left handed reader also speak about her books as well.
@@jadeddiamonds9983 Yes, LHR sums up Brookner's style very well.
Stoner is an amazing read. I loved it. We have a lot the same favorites. I still need to read Secret History.
Yes do read The Secret History. You’ll definitely enjoy it. Stoner 💔, the best ever!
I’ve heard such amazing things about Piranesi!! And My Brilliant Friend is on my April TBR, I’m excited to read it 😊
I really hope you enjoy My Brilliant Friend, I got high hopes 🤞🏾
@@jadeddiamonds9983 thank you!! 😀
I’ve read and loved all the books you’ve mentioned except my brilliant friend. Feels like I should pick it up soon
I really think you should give it a try. I hope you like it 🤞🏾

I have read any Murdoch. If I had to choose one to be my first, what would you suggest?
