Shot in Shinjuku.
I still remember the first time I came to this city from my hometown. I was so excited.
Many places I’ve seen on the TV were just in front of me.
Lots of people on the street and they passed away in hurry.
They looked very different from ones in my hometown.
Some looked trendy like TV starts, and some looked weird.
Later on the same day, my excitement turned to be disappointment. I thought people in the city had no interest in others.
An example. I asked a station staff about the direction. He said with an inexpressive face “Look by yourself. The map is out there”.
The city made me confused and nervous. And I was alone at that time.
Years go by, I’ve adjusted myself. Now I know how to deal with the city. There are lots of good places and good stuff.
What's more, I’m no longer alone.
As a matter of fact, I even love this city.
I put my all these memories in this movie.

田舎から始めて東京にやって来た日を想い出す。とても人が多く、今日はお祭りか？！なんて思ったことを。TVで見たことある場所が目の前に。
しかし、時が経つにつれ、東京への興奮も冷め失望に。他人に無関心な人々。時の流れがものすごく速い。東京は私を混乱させ、落ち着かなくさせる。そして孤独だった。
しかし、時が更に経ち、東京での過ごし方、立ち振る舞いがわかるようになった。そして、家族もでき、もう孤独ではなくなった。今は東京が好きでさえある。
