Good job, love the voice-overs
Cheers Bazzra 🍻
Good one twisty,
I like how you’re honest about the Ill fitting panel, and how you had to modify it to fit. I also like how you mentioned the relief cut.
Keep those tips coming mate.
p.s - sign us up for the shop class
Cheers mouse
Hey Mouse, will do mate, sounds like a plan! Cheers 🍻
Nice work mate the rattle in your shed is probably the flashing. Keep up the awesome content.
You are spot on brother, haha it annoys me but doesn't happen too often so I don't fix it hahaha 😜, one of those jobs on the to do list 😄
Great job as always mate!
Thanks legend 🙏 🍻
Awesome video again Legend! Can't wait to see more! Well done!
Thanks Shoey! 🍻
Good job...totally agree!..only cut out what you need to cut out!...PS sounds like a loose screw on that panel on the shed ...cheers
Cheers John, yeah it makes it a bit easier hey, yeah could be a loose screw, I think it's the flashing somewhere haha .. was so frustrating 🤣 🍻
I'm new to your channel I prefer talking then some crappy music play really loud but that's just my personal opinion. Sometimes people want these late at night and they keep turning the sound up and down so that I wake their family up just a tip for you, cheers Graham
Welcome to TMC Graham, glad you are here! I appreciate the feedback about the commentary and music, it is my "pet hate" too having to turn down music and back up for voice! i try to eliminate most loud noises but ill do further checks before i release to make sure, but i think overall most feedback has been that everyone like the talking too! so that's great, ill incorporate it more into my channel. thanks for the comment and joining TMC mate 🍻
~Twisty
@@TwistedMetalCustoms thx mate
good video there Twisty, its sure coming along fast now. Looks like you n me will be doing the 6Pack challenge in no time. WB vs XW 😁 Keep up the good work
Thanks Lee! Yeah pretty excited to get it completed.. bit worried what your engine build is going to be though, you have been very secretive haha, Holden vs Ford.. icons of Australia 🇦🇺, anyone wanting similar content to mine, go check out Lee at Gold Shift Garage for a beauty WB ute build !🍻
Great video as always The commentary was also great
Those aftermarket panels look like fun But at least they’re available My 62 Vanguard Ute has no aftermarket panels available so it’s all home made
Yes please on the shop course
Cheers
Michael
Hey mick, thanks for the feedback and yeah sounds like a big project you have making all those panels, thanks for the interest in the course also, but the course will be in the Plainland, qld area .. is this somewhere you could get to in person?
@@TwistedMetalCustoms cheers mate
Sadly no a bit far away for me at this stage
Oh yes the joys of non mainstream cars
But hey they’re different
@@michaelharrison500 ah no worries, ill work on more custom shaping and stuff in future episodes if i can , that may help you a bit hopefully!
@@TwistedMetalCustoms it’s all good mate
Hey mate recently found your channel and you are doing some very good instructional content. Just a thought with that shed vibration- if you have a bit of left over CarBuilders sound deadener or aimilar lying around you can stick that on the offending panels in the area you think is the worst culprit and it will dull the sound right down and get rid of that high frequency vibration I reckon. Might be worth a try. Cheers mate
Welcome Ryan! Thanks mate, thanks for finding TMC, that's a bloody good idea mate 💡, I think its the flashing flaps between the pop rivets haha, but I'll keep that in mind and thank you, cheers 🍻
Is it true that you have to overlap the repair section to existing in Australia
Hi Lyel, I think it's depending on state to state, I know WHEN you do an overlap repair it needs to be a certain lap amount (15mm??) But not 100% sure depending on what state. Maybe it's talking about if you are replacing whole sections that uses the spot welds and lap joins on all sides. I am not doing lap joins, terrible for future rust, I'll just go through engineering if need be to get it signed off in worst case. (Or do the repair well enough so it's not noticeable haha)
