I laughed at this, but then thought about the prejudice this skit plays into, namely that humanities experts should NOT get paid? Still, the premise is hilarious.
Not that they shoud not get paid, but that they should not get such enormous fees from the BBC on top of their probably 6-figure university salaries. Just a question of proportion.
I loved the recurring Scharma sketch where he gets given three props and has to use them illustrate a particular event.
Now I keep thinking of this skit whenever I see these guys in something.
Priceless, especially Schama, all these lisps, mannerisms and sideways looks.
Gosh, I needed some silliness!!!
Loved it 🤣
Starkey was OK, but the Scharma impression was mightily impressive!
It's Penfold!
Where was Simon for the Thunderbirds reboot?
Or would his pay cripple the show?
It would only be possible to use 3 illustrative props for the program
The Schama impression is good. Starkey, not so much.

@@routeman680 Oh, I agree! Just as long as the same scrutiny is extended to the "hard" sciences, not just the humanities.
😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
I could do a better David Starkey impression than this guy.
