If it’s perfect for you then it’s perfect. The craftsmanship of nuthouse products is insane. I’d prefer to be able to go inside a hard shelter if I’m going to pull a trailer, but I can totally see why that works so well for you
Nice trailer. I have owned a patriot camper for 5 years now and I can appreciate all types of set ups. Few things I would change on this trailer that I think Patriot got right in my opinion and why I think they are superior. Battery and water tank placement are in the center of the trailer between the tires. Does wonders for balance. Airbags. Leveling a patriot especially when arriving to camp at night is takes seconds. Webasto diesel heating system for water and heat to the tent. You can program multiple timers for when it turns on and off not to mention it is super efficient on fuel. The kitchen layout if very functional especially with the BBQ swing away. Their wiring is very clean and professional. Just a few things I noticed. There are others but ultimately trailers like these are more than anyone needs to enjoy the outdoors. Kudos to you for doing this walk around. They are very helpful to those looking for a trailer. Safe travels.
Thank you for the comments! You are exactly right, these are more than anyone "needs" to enjoy the outdoors...how spoiled we are to have access to such things. Blessings to you on your journeys!
Glad it helped! The lead time is fairly long, but you get exactly what you want, not what someone else thinks would work. Everyone’s needs and preferences are a little bit different and this is where Nuthouse Industries really measures up to the challenge.
I just priced one and I would have them do my electrical....$46K. Kinda steep for a RTT trailer imho. But thats me. If it suits you then thats all that counts. It is a sweet trailer for sure
Hi Joel! Yes, they had a significant price increase since I placed my order in 2021. RVs and just about everything else has gone crazy. When I placed my order I had quite a bit of time to find the best deals/sales on a RRtent, awning, battery, fridge, etc. That helped a lot.
Nuthouse has always been known for their stupid prices. They cater to the “rich” overlander’s. Using the excuse that the market has got more expensive for a $46k 5x8 trailer with a couple of tool box’s is just plain stupid. But if you are rich and don’t care what anything costs then it doesn’t matter.
If they can afford it good for them and good bless the people can can afford this type of stuff because we don't know the sacrifices they have done to be in the position that they are. If all the people that watch this type of videos would rather get inspired and say I too, if I put my mind to the grind stone and figure out a way to better my self espirutaly and economically, i too can purchase what ever my heart and my wallet desires. Good for this guy and if he cans keep living the life and I can say that I am inspired to do better in life so I can buy what ever I want. God Bless 🙌 🙏
@@383strokerv8 I can afford this, that’s not the point, it’s not worth what they are asking is my point. I have a wrangler 392 that cost $100k, I have a wagoneer that costs $94k, and a Ram 3500 that cost $90k. All of which are paid off and I still think their prices are dumb. They prey on rich people who are clueless when it comes to these trailers, but they (the rich folk) have so much money that they don’t care and don’t look further than the marketing materiel these guys put out.
Nuthouse Industries is a top shelf company. The only thing I'd change is the water access points.....locking doors would be nice. Personally I'd like an Enclosed HD Acorn trailer someday.
Thanks! They do seem to go the extra mile with all the details that are so often just "stamped out" with the typical processes found in many products in the manufacturing world.
Very nice set up. I think when my last 2 sons move out, I may finally be able to convince my wife to sell our travel trailer and get something like this.
Matt, what is the top of the box/cargo area? Is it a fixed panel or is it a roll top? Just trying to figure out how easy you can access stuff in the cargo area. Thanks and great video.
What is that oven on top of the camp stove in the clip of your wife cooking? I've been looking for something to melt cheese, pizza, etc. while camping. Thanks!
It's a fast-fold oven by Winnerwell. We paid around $75 for it but it looks like they changed the design a bit and raised the price. I think there are cheaper options out there. We love it!
Sorry about that! Did you mean the sleeping space? If so, it's a BundaTop tent which has several reviews online you may want to check out. If you meant the storage space, there is a section around the 9 minute mark that shows the cargo area. Hope that helps! By the way, I do intend on doing a rooftop tent review once the warm weather hits.
@Matt Molnar ya it's buried on the website and when I spoke with them in 2021 didn't sound like wanted to build that model. They are more focused on thier other products
Since I got mine the prices went up a bit. I would get on the phone with Nuthouse and have a talk with them about exactly what you're looking for and they will give you a quote. Mine came in close to 30K before adding my own tent, fridge, awning and battery system. It's a lot of money, for sure, but the build quality and materials used must be taken into account. If you compare to Patriot, Turtleback and other similar offerings, you'll find the Peanut is not at all out of line. After our recent 32 day trip logging over 7K miles, we couldn't be happier with its performance.
@nuthouseindustriesllc did my lift on my Gladiator and I will likely return for some more stuff later. Great folks, great craftsmanship, I can't say enough good things about them.
@@MattMolnar10 Thx for your answer. May I ask you some more informations about the technical solution? or it's a secret build lol. That's exactly what I want buid on my trailer.
These were installed by Nuthouse Industries in the original build. It is a set of four synchronized motors operated by one switch. Their capacity is 1500 pounds total.

Thanks so much!

We were quite happy with its performance on our trip out west last month. It was perfect for the dispersed camping we were doing.
Wow a piece of art
I like it awesome
Thank you for the video. You have a beautiful setup. I subbed.
very nice trailer man.
Thanks! We just got back from a short trip through Vermont, NH and Maine. We love Overlanding!
Best company out there.
I'm thinking of buying a totaled car too turn into a trailer, but does this comes with all of the stuff inside?
nice video
Thanks
The best overland bagus sekali 💕

Thanks Shaun! The spare tire carrier swings away to reveal two doors that open from the center, revealing a 4 x 5‘ wide cargo area.

I wonder if they could put a couple of collapsible hammock mounts on top instead of a rooftop tent? That would be our dream!
Sounds cool! I'm sure they could do it.
Always been a huge fan of Nuthouse. Wish they focused on trailers more and designed a sleep in rig
They actually did build a sleep in rig. You can see it in their video gallery.

Amazing building. How do you lift the top with the house?
A motor raises the rack up about 20 inches

Bundutrail from Bundutec much better, more options and practical👌
How much is the trailer?
They start around 21K
Ohio companies build the BEST stuff in America
$21k…. No thanks

Its primitive and basic box trailer
Ridiculous price...
