I think the fuel pump is sitting in the gas tank sucking up the fuel. Then it goes through the line with the yellow clip to the injectors. The tube with the red clip is your evap vent canister. This allows the fumes to escape the gas tank and be filtered through the charcoal canister.
Thanks for the video. Did you ever track down the source of the problem? I'm in the diagnosing stage now, thinking that my pump may be bad. Starter runs by engine does not turn over.
Well looks like I have a blown head gasket and water was fowling my plugs so that's why it would not start. Saving up money to take head into shop for repair and get new headgasket. Take your plugs out and see if there wet. Or put new ones in and see if it fires up if you get white smoke you have bad head gasket.
Try using the method I showed in the video with rubber mallet and block of wood. Not sure what else might work. Mabey try shooting a little WD-40 around it mabey it will lube the rubber oring under it and it will break free.
Yes most fuel pumps come with filter on the inside of it. I would suggest buying from Napa auto parts they are good quality and come with internal filters.
I believe I did a recent video on 2010 toyota corolla on my wife's car was misfiring bad and running rough check it out. Basically, the most common misfire is spark plug, ignition coil, spark plug wires. My wife's was one of her ignition coils. Easy fix.

Guys, I can't unscrew the lid, I already bought the key. The ribs break and the lid doesn't unscrew. Who had this and what did you do?
