Thank you for discovering me. That's why I'm here. I'm 81 and I want other women to know that they matter and that we're important. Yes, makeup does make a difference!!! Personally I need it!!! My daughter at 50 needs nothing. Maybe lipstick.

Hi from Australia too. I also suffer from Dry Eye (I said, that can't be right, I have tears running out my eyes all the time!! Then she explained it's because the eyes aren't absorbing the tears properly, so I use drops morning and night, my eyes have improved dramatically, Haven't they told you to use the drops???)
The Dior looks fantastic on you and the color matches your skin perfectly.
It's rather amazing. I've never had a foundation that matched my skin so well.
The Dior foundation looks fabulous on you. What a treat you are! When you put on the lipstick you reminded me of Doris Day. I took your advice and dug out my mother's Eisenberg jewelry for my jean jacket. Now off to find the foundation. Good luck with the biopsies! Thank you for a great video! My husband has had 3 large skin cancers off his face, then cream for a bunch of little ones, they all reacted at once and the whole side of his face looked like he'd fallen over and had 'gravel rash!'...it got all weepy, then flaked off, was raw and sore, then finally dried up, healed, and now you'd never know! Marvellous stuff for the tiny spots! Now if he gets something suspicious, out comes the cream, if it's nothing, nothing happens, but if it's a cancer, it reacts straight away and he applies it for the week, goes through the process, and it's gone!
@@lynettefinnigan9540 I've had that cream. NASTY stuff but when it all falls off, yes, presto - baby skin.
Just now came upon your channel and I am impressed!! I am 75 years young and low and behold I just got a sample of the glow a few days ago and girl....I am loving it. makes my skin look flawless. going to purchase a bottle. This Dior forever glow is the BOMB!!!!

We need to be able to accept our flaws-take them in stride and not let them prevent us from loving life and living it to the fullest!!! Film when your skin has issues, when you're not well or had a biopsey, etc..its Real Life!!❤❤❤❤ and I love your inspiration, I'm 64, and since my mum passed, I 'hang out' with my Aunt, who is 82, and is as lively as a 40 yr old and fills me with inspiration...we do an exercise class together on Monday's, shop, have a coffee and chat regularly... I enjoy her company.

The Dior is a perfect match!! I wear that shade also. I have trouble finding foundations because so many are yellow base. Bobbie Brown used to say all women need some yellow in their foundation. I think the Dior is a keeper!!!!
I don’t understand the yellow thing. Check out Estée Lauder Hydra Rescue cream in Fresco. I use it with their primer.

I have a lot of wrinkles around my mouth and the darker the lipstick the more they show. And I have never smoked! I am trying lighter lipstick, I tried the bright red and it brought attention to the wrinkles... Even though I did wear red when I was young, I am going to try the Dior foundation.. thanks you are a fun to be with!
Did you see my video "Say GoodBye to lipstick Bleeding" Check it out.My girlfriend who has a problem with lipstick bleeding used the batting method and it worked. I wear all different colors in a week. From Red to pink.

I almost cancelled going to dinner with old friends I hadn't seen in years because not wanting everyone to make a fuss over me using a cane right now (and the fact I may be in pain depending on the night). No! I'll go and put on my best makeup! That color and finish on you is lovely. I am sorry though about your medical issues - they are so frustrating - Eleanor.
Good for you. I'm really happy to hear that the cane didn't keep you down. Wait till you see my face if I I have basal cell cancer and they have to remove it. You know it's just that time in life when we have to be brave and gutsy and not let these things get us down. Just hold your head up high as you did. You're setting an example for others whether you know it or not. Thank you.
@@SandraSallin Just got out of the hospital for something rather serious. I rewatched your videos and they always made me smile. So I put on lipstick and laughed about if it went well with the hospital gown. Cheered me up. Onward! Thank you! Keep us posted.
Yep, two of them are basal skin cancer. I need MOS surgery. While your recovering it helps to look half way decent. It might just be lipstick 💄 and mascara. Keep on top of the pain meds. Hoping you feel better.

I have dry eye syndrome too! I am allergic to any type of oil or lubricant eye drop or anything whatsoever with mineral oil (Neosporin is a nightmare for me). What works for me is the Thera Tears (without the extra lubricant). It is the closest eye drop to your natural tears. I also use Lumify one a day. I did invest in a heated eye mask and I will use it occasionally. Between it all, my eyes have greatly improved!
Just to let you know you’re not alone. I’m allergic to lumify eye drops plus Neosporin. I use Vaseline to keep my incisions moist. Did you know that’s what they use on the battlefields? Vaseline. Yes, that heat on your eyes opens up the glands to let more of the natural lubricant enter your eyes. Good for you.

More than 40 shades of Dior to choose from too! Will you let us know how it wore throughout the day?
Yes, I'll be very organized and track it. To be honest once I put on foundation or any makeup other than lipstick, I simply forget about it. But I'll do that tomorrow.
Loved this video, I've been dealing with some eye trouble also and my doctor said that my eyes are not producing any oil so i have to do heat packs 3x/day and then rub my lash line to try and unclog or stimulate the oil. Unfortunately the swelling of the lash line made a lot of my lashes fall out and I'm crossing my fingers and holding my breath the come back. My lashes were very skimpy at best but I'll take skimpy over bald any day.
Oh, I know all about dry eye. I deal with it also. Can you use Revitalash to help them grow after this bout? Did we ever hear about dry eye when we were growing up?
@@SandraSallin I tried Grande lash I think (it was a duo, brow and lash mini in a gold tube). IT BURNED my eyes, unfortunately not for me.
I’m allergic to Telescopic mascara in the gold tube. But I really like telescopic in the black tube.
