    Your skin looks wonderful Sandra. The Skinn Divine Elixir is my desert island product. I know that if I could have only one skin care product that would be it. With that being said, I’m like you…I love trying new products. I know for sure that nothing that I just smear on my face is going to make me look ten years younger. And having a routine. I look at it like first I cleanse, then treat, etc…and I make sure I use a product that does that and they may change every day/night or not! Great video…Patti. ❤

      Thanks Patti. You're the one who turned me on to Divine Elixer. I know you have tons of products. I'm getting there. Or maybe I'm there. But right now I've seen the most difference in my skin. I think it's that Serum that has a combination of serums in it. There must be something that just works on my skin. Loved yout "How I met Jim"" video.

    Always look forward to your videos. I agree with you in that there are many reasons why I change some of my skin care products. Seasonal changes are one reason. Last year was a big change when diagnosed with breast cancer. All the things from stress, painful procedures, surgery, medications, radiation and now estrogen blockers have called for a big change in how I treat my skin. Radiation was probably the worse as the skin on my neck and even blotches on my face needed extra care. Skinn Manuka Oil was a savior. I am now able to use my skin care products without issue. Grateful we have many options but I always use clean beauty products.

    • @SandraSallin
      @SandraSallin  4 месяца назад +1

      I wonder if my skin is so dry because of my radiation ?

    • @nancyferrari6743
      @nancyferrari6743 4 месяца назад

      @@SandraSallin I would suspect so. My skin was a hot mess during and after 21 rounds of radiation. All I could tolerate was Beekman goat milk cleanser, moisturizer and the Skinn Divine Elixir Oil. After about a month, I was able to use my Skinn DWP serums and day and night cream. Now that it’ll be warm in up here in Southern California, I’ll use the oil nightly.

    I once liked trying new skin care products, but after years of using expensive skincare products, I really got into using natural oils and vitamin C serum. I like the Timeless line of skincare products when I do purchase from a specific skin care line. I do think that when it comes to skincare, using anything is better than using nothing. Of all the skin care products I’ve tried, I have come to prefer natural products. I like all the natural oils-carrot seed oil, rose hip seed oil, jojoba oil, coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, castor oil, and argan oil are all in my skin care routine. I find that my skin responds much better to natural oils when used as cleansers and moisturizers. I have very sensitive skin so I am always cautious. I don’t purchase expensive products anymore because I just don’t see that they have any real advantage over the natural oils. Having dry skin, I don’t like to use elixirs or toners. I never have breakouts and I don’t have many wrinkles or fine lines at age 69, so I must be doing something right.

    Good Morning Sandra. Great skincare products. Oh Instarted shaving my face 3 yrs ago. I really didn’t have much fuzz on my face at all, but I did it. I use Tinkle razors which is a cult favorite. I order on Amazon. They’re great. But, I must tell you that the fuzz on my face has grown in thicker, and above my upper lip, I now have fairs( not fuzz) growing and I hate it. But I now have to shave at least every two wks. Yet have to now shave around my lips and eyes every week. It is amazing how much smoother foundation goes on, how well skincare penetrates after shaving. It also exfoliates dead skin cells as we shave. You’re going to love it. Be careful in doing it ok. Thank you for talking and showing us what you use in your skincare regimes. I too am a huge fan of essences. I have several favs and at least once a week, I try the 7 method layering of essences. My skin drinks them up. Dry, more mature.

      Thanks for the info. Are upi saying that once you start shaving you have to do it all the time? Do you use a shaving cream?

    • @karlaharvey2623
      @karlaharvey2623 4 месяца назад

      @@SandraSallin yep! If I wait 2 weeks in between shaving my face, it’s so fuzzy and Sandra, it wasn’t near as fuzzy as it is now after starting shaving my face. I don’t care how many swear that it does not make our fuzz ( vellus hair) known as peach fuzz grow back thicker and or longer, it sure did on my 62 yr old face. Especially above my lips and around my eyes. No, I don’t use shaving cream. I wash my face and let it completely dry, then use a Tinkle razor( sold on Amazon) to shave. I even now have to shave under my chin and joul line. It does make a big difference inhow our foundation goes on and how it helps skincare products absorb better, but for me, it did make my fuzz grow back thicker and faster. Hope this helps.

    I checked the ingredient list of the Qure serum. Although they are pretty far down the list, which means there isn't a lot in the formula, the serum contains retinol and mandelic and lactic acid all of which can thin the skin.

    I have to say your skin looks so bright and fresh it’s so lovely when we notice something is working. I’m using Elemis at the moment and my skin is loving it. Especially the pro collection serum, it’s supposed to be for probably 50s but it’s really help my skin look smoother and I’m just 70, can’t be bad. Also I hope you don’t mind if I Remind you, you were going to look into a face powder that people said it changed their life, well it sounds good doesn’t it. I did mention it before but it was just before you had your radiation treatment and of course that was far more important than face powder. Anyway a big thank you, I enjoyed your videos so much and love your enthusiasm for all things beauty . Michelle xx
