Sexual Trauma and Addiction

Course Description
Any working model of addictive disorders must encompass awareness that adverse childhood experiences (ACES) and other traumatic events contribute to their etiology. Dr. Trogden will guide us in an overview of the intersection between specifically-sexual trauma and addiction and validated treatment approaches for working with clients who struggle with both trauma and an addictive disorder.
