I have one but it’s unstable any tips to run more slowly and keep it from rocking
I have brand new orange m41 with dual rudder pickup, anodized blue rear line inlet, dual cooling lines, blue anodized outlet on the side of the boat, HR cooling jacket, HR blue rear tabs, I suggest getting the rc boat bitz ones though they are longer, I also have a brass prop and blue bullet nut I heard the prop is junk though 😔 but it's littery ready to go im freaking pumped been collecting dust all winter, along with a brand new vector sr80 pro, I've never drove a rc boat before I can't wait....

Just got this one too. I have only ran it twice, and both times I noticed some water inside. I wonder it the water is getting into the back where there are two tiny holes. Do you get any water inside?
It’s normal a little water is fine full of water then you got a leak lol

What's better for choppy waters and some wake, this or the spartan? Because I might be picking either one up and I don't wanna destroy the m41 thanks!
Jacob P the with the Spartan being a v-hull I noticed it doesn't get lift like a cataraman with it being flat. I don't use traxxas due to their hearing problems. I personally like the looks of the cataraman.
As I already have a cat and just picked up a Spartan I will probably not get one of these unless tower hobbies puts them on easy pay. Gotta love traxxas though, yes some of their stuff needs to be upgraded to get the most out of them but they have fantastic customer support and stand by their products

Can the DCB go in salt water?
Absolutely, just make sure you perform proper maintenance and flush everything with fresh water after running it
Put a hotter prop on mine. Brass pro boat prop. Do get a balancer from Amazon Im hitting 72 mph. Still runs like its on glass!! Wanted oxadine but couldn't drop $1200 till I saw if I liked it. Next spring ipgrade to 1oo + carbon fiber Animal twin prop!

Do these not have a remote control that warns you before the battery dies? I’m debating on buying this boat.
When the batteries get low the ESC reduces throttle to 25%. In most cases you should be able to get to shore. Also, keep your speed up or the ESC may overheat and shut down without warning. You may have to wait a few minutes until it cools off and gets going again.
