I should also mention, that i have purchased & used numerous Yankee Candle products over the years, and I have had positive experiences with almost all of them. This is one of the only, if not the only Yankee Candle product I've ever used where I'm thoroughly disappointed thru and thru. Maybe car air fresheners just aren't their strong suit. Which sucks because i thought i had found a new Little Tree competitor. ALSO. Apparently what i have is actually called the "Car Jar Ultimate", and the "Car Jar" is the name of the regular foam Little Tree looking ones that are less expensive. Maybe I'll try those and see if they are actually better? I thought that "Car Jar" was an umbrella term for all Yankee Candle car air fresheners, so the title has bee fixed.
All their reviews are now "Incentivized", so thanks for yours. They've fallen off a long time ago when their candles stopped having a throw, but I was hoping these would be decent.
I will say these are awesome for people sensitive to smells and fragrance lol…. I have the pumpkin one and love how it mixes with my cars natural smell. I definitely understand what you mean though about the smell having the strength of smelling something you were cooking outside of your home with the windows open 😂😂 that’s a perfect analogy tbh
My mom loves to put these in her car. She really likes to get the “Pink Sands” one, and that one has never failed to disappoint in being almost too strong sometimes. I’m not sure about the other flavors, but the couple of other ones she’s tried have been pretty good. Personally, I have the bath+body works one that clips to the visor and it doesn’t work as well as the yankee candle air fresheners my mom has gotten.
Does she normally get the foam ones or the plastic ones? I think Pink Sands was another one that the store had. I was about to buy the foam ones because they were cheaper, but figured that since all of them were 25% off, I'd get the more expensive one. Maybe I just got lucky and got the 2 least potent scents, but I doubt it. I don't even normally put air fresheners in my cars. I have liked almost all the Bath & Body Works stuff I've had over the years so maybe ill give it a try .
Yankee Candle is based in Deerfield, MA, about an hour drive from where I grew up. It's kind of a big tourist trap with a factory outlet store. I've actually never been there and really have no interest. I've always thought Yankee Candles and their associated products are just overpriced for what you get.
I've had some good candles and stuff from them but these just suck. They could have put a Great Value label on them and priced them at $2.50/per and it would have made sense.

You're welcome. That's lovely. Seems that's the way a lot of companies are going now.
They don’t work! A waste of money!

Exactly. If I'm getting an air freshener, I want to SMELL IT. Not have it blow near my nostrils and I kind of pick it up for 5 seconds.
