There are lot of crap people in street who scratches new cars body with key or screw driver. The worst thing is that we couldn't even catch them . The only option I found is to install dashcam turn on parking dashcam . Ppf is really a boon ! It saved the paint .

car painting here cost only 45000rupees ppf cost me 125000 .. after 5 years its difficult to remove and becomes yellowish.. there will be some blade cuytting mark if you look closely
Can we agree that having to paint anything is not the ideal situation. Would much rather peel PPF, keep factory paint and reinstall a new piece of PPF.

Doest make sense pay 10K for PPF. after scratch pay 10K again. I can get booth paint done in 2.5 whole panel heck if car i 5-7 year+ and multiple paint job i can get it striped and fresh pain still wont cost this much. Lets not talk about dents in that case PPF or no PPF paint is gone anyway so you have to get Re-paint done.

Aftermarket painting sometimes, the clear coat is full of orange peel , which looks weird . There are some pro painters who paints like oem glossy finish which is bit high price .
Why would you have to pay 10k after a scratch? You would only have to replace the piece for that panel. PPF is well worth the cost. Nobody wants to pay $600+ to repaint a hood or bumper. Investing in film is the way to go.
