No one bothers to lock their door half the time and some people even leave the keys for their car with smart start in their car, sometimes they don't even know where the key is they know it's just somewhere in their car and the car will start, and this was a $150,000+ AMG Mercedes. I know this cause I worked as a delivery driver for Mercedes Benz in most expensive suburbs in Sydney. Also like LA the most expensive suburbs don't have a train line, the roads are windy and there's usually only one way in or out so you don't get many people from other areas come to visit let along rob you. I think these days are a little difference but 10 years ago it certainly was a perk of living in an expensive neighborhood.
