Round 2’s decals have gotten way better because they switched to Cartagrapher from Italy to make their decals for them. They make the best decals in the world.

Is it possible to get the Klingon D7 1/1000? I would like to see that put together. If I where physically able I would love to put some of these together. Works of art 😊. Very cool

Walmart grabbed up the rest of the stock a few years ago. Maybe new prints will be made.

are they going to redo these models and have them with lights like they did for the discovery enterprise

They look great. Seeing as how you have to pay extra for the Aztecs, did you ever think of trying to put Aztecs on the T.O.S Enterprise? I've seen some one with a 1/ 1000 putting lights all over very interesting 🤔. Thank you for your video 😊

Very, very cool......I do like Star Trek models, I have both Larger Enterprise & Reliant, but never built, my E-kit has the lights. My question is....could very Small LED's be placed in those kits....maybe just nav lights?? Thanks for your time, answering.

I love this scale. Are there any plans to release the rest of the enterprises in 1:1000 scale?

Polar Lights is considering the possibility of releasing the ENT-D in that scale as many people have requested it.

Oh my god you need to paint the blue bit around the top of the neck on the refit Enterprise! You're not finished yet!

While I loved the E-refit from TMP, I really did not like Probert's idea of the aztecing on the hull, thusly I despised it when AMT made a 2nd+ run of the model with a pitiful attempt at moulding them into the plastic. A good thing I bought five of the first run that were smooth[except for the shield[s] grid lines] 1 through 4 met with accidents, #5 is still in its' box all these years, as well as #3 of the long range shuttle {The Surak} that had or has some surface details that are inaccurate, plus Paul M. Hewitt's {half-wit} expensive wire & PCB kit simply didn't work inside #1 & #2 of the Surak, so I just hoped that something better would come along. So 1 & 2 of the Surak became assembly and paint practice kits and #3 kept in the box to this day. Now I hear Polar Lights has separate lighting kits, seen the units for the K'tinga and the PL TOS Enterprise on YT and wondering if they make them for the entire line. Going back to the first sentence, on my Favourite Outer Limits ep "The Inheritors" there is a scene where Duvall's character meets up with a Swedish metallurgist [Leon Askin-- from Hogan's Heroes] and he demonstrated Steve Ihnat's character------------
Lt. Philip Minns-- 'invention' - a girder for the spaceship they were building, that was lighter than wood, but many times stronger than steel and how when two pieces were brought together, they bonded-no adhesive, no welding and no seam, they became one piece. This is how I personally envisage Starfleet ship hull construction, ever since 1968. Though analogue, and only 330 lines of resolution[at best-NTSC] they gave us some good close-ups before NBC finally killed the show in season 3. None of this damn Aztec nonsense. The old girl is a lot prettier without lines on her body. On the first run refit models it can be an option to fill in those moulded-in grid patterns with putty, like you use, then wet sandpaper.

Your work would look better if you spayed those models with a clearcoat after you apply the decals. The shininess is not to scale, and if you use a matt coat, not only will it look more realistic, it will hide many of your decal flaws. Nice work overall, though. Thanks.

Rather keep on learning and practicing with Blender, etc. I know, it's not the same as being able to hold something in your hands. LOL
