This is the newest smartphone from OnePlus!
It has a similar design to the OnePlus 11, is powered by a Snapdragon 820 Gen 1 processor, and comes at a better price point. The 8+128GB variant costs 39999, while the 16+256GB variant costs 44999. Let's first take a look at the box contents.
On the box, we have all the details in regards to the phone, but once we open it up, we have a smaller box that has a bunch of documents, including the Red Cable Club Card and the SIM Ejector PIN. Following this, we also have a simple case for the phone, which is also quite an interesting bundle because most of us don't buy a case, and hence this makes sure that the phone is protected from the most basic drops and scratches.
Next in the box, we have the 100W SUPERVOOC charger along with the Type-C cable. Now let's talk about the phone and my thoughts around it.
OVERVIEW: Following this, we have the phone, which looks quite premium. I will talk about the design later, but overall, the phone does look interesting, and it comes with an interesting camera setup that we will again talk about later in this video. The phone does look quite similar to the OnePlus 11, and it's hard to differentiate between the two unless you notice the Hasselblad branding on the camera.
DISPLAY - The phone comes with a 6.74" Super AMOLED Display along with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and has a 450ppi. Under the settings, you do have the option to switch from the high screen refresh rate to the standard one.
BATTERY - Battery-wise, it comes with a 5000 mAh battery that easily lasts for the day, while the box has a 100W SuperVOOC charger that makes sure your phone gets quickly charged. What OnePlus claims is that It only takes 5 minutes 17 seconds to get its to 30% battery, 10 minutes to get it to 52%, and 25minutes to 100% battery.
CAMERA - The phone has a triple camera setup where you have the 50MP main camera that has OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera followed by a 2MP macro camera, and on the front, a 16MP camera. When we tried it out, we noticed that you could zoom up to 10x in both photo and video mode. Also, the phone supports up to 4K video recording.
SOFTWARE - The company has promised a good amount of software update and the overall software in this takes me back to the Oxygen OS that had a simplistic approach while both the OnePlus 11 & 11R have very similar features and experience, there is no difference when it comes to software too. In terms of pre-installed applications, there are not many, unlike Netflix and Prime Video, which I noticed and which we anyway would have installed on the phone.
Overall the phone supports Dual 5G Standby and 5G+4G standby feature and also has the IR Blaster to use it as a Remote Control to control your TV, A/c and other home appliances. In short, someone who is looking to buy a new phone and is on a limited budget and who cannot spend 56999 on the OnePlus 11, then the 11R is a good alternative at ₹39,999.

Yes by Default OnePlus puts a screen guard on the display but would recommend a tempered glass seperately.

3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security patches will be given to OnePlus 11 R.
But yes this is a better primary camera than the OnePlus 7t camera. Because the main sensor is only which is helpful and useful in day to day life than the other 2 sensors. You can expect good portrait pictures from this sensor and also a better software optimization.
Definitely it's worth the money.
