Katie Crutchfield's songwriting and vocal lyricism are phenomenal of course, and they're elevated by an exceptional band. Especially Colin Croom for the way he makes the pedal steel sing and Spencer Tweedy for his precise, elegant drumming.
I think this version of Right Back To It is the best one online without MJ Lendermen. I think Katie & the band realized they can't recreate the haunting harmonies & electric guitar of MJ, so they turned the song into a veritable bluegrass jam. You could tell from their expressions that even they were surprised how well it turned out!
