Hit #2 in the Detroit charts in early February 1971. I remember this on the radio from then! I was all of ten years old. Lol My big sister shaped my music exposure. I doubt that my WJR-playing parents played this song!
Hi Music Express, Merry Christmas. The reason I'm writing this letter, is because I wanted to ask you, to ask RUclips to bring back Do Me Right? Listen! I'm from the old school music listener, and I've since listen to all these wonder old school, such as The Detroit Emeralds Do Me Right and some other old school artist, since I was just toddler in 60s. But when they keep removing The Detroit Emeralds and any other artist from RUclips, it makes kind of sad. Could you help bring them all back? 😭😢

I love this one too, their voices are sooo! smooth and sexy on this.
Oh Yeah! Used to do a little chicken dance in the Disco! lol Oh! AND the BUMP!
Old music is the best 👌. Good memories

That's the Detroit emeralds
I like this song
That's right the Detroit emeralds
Missing music!!!!
ln my humble opinion, Just Now and Then is their number 1 hit of all time.
The Detroit Emeralds what a dynamic soul group. I have only heard their Feel the Need in Me, but this one is uplifting
Bubbled Under the Hot 100 in 1971 or 1972. Should’ve been a hit.
I agree with Wikipedia that this song serves as a link between soul and disco!
@Patrick McCallum Before rap, there was "Be-Bop." Somewhere along the line we got the sound of "Swing."
I have this 45
