It touches the concept of death, but it does not absolutely immerse itself with it like Schnittke. It's not cursed. Most of all, it's a work motivated by his immense love for humanity. One of my favorite pieces of music ever.
Очень хорошее исполнение, браво.Необычно испльзование лунной Бетховена Шостаковичем. Есть что послушать. Очень качественное звучание, исполнителей как бы нет, в воздухе витает только музыка. С удовольствием сходил бы на подобное, в какой нибудь немецкой кирхе. Кирха - лучшее место для такой музыки.

This guy is my hero. And this piece, 2nd movement is on my bucket list, hopefully for future playing.
