@@mario486waluigi2 Not what? I own both a Rhodes Mk 1 and a Wurlitzer 200 and I can assure you that the electric piano in this is a Wurlitzer. There is a glockenspiel overdubbed
@@BillC518 Yes, I've owned 2 and played a couple of others. They vary slightly in tone but this tone is pretty typical. It sounds as if they've cut the mid slightly which gives it a slightly buzzier tone but they're very velocity sensitive and distort very easily. They also tend to be a little uneven and at around the 40 second mark here, there's one note that's particularly strident. What's interesting is that there's a celeste or glockenspiel overdubbed from about halfway through which is particularly noticeable at the end adding the bell like tone. I think that's why some people think it's a Rhodes.
Sounds like a Wurlitzer Electric Piano with a lot of reverb. Initially it sounded Rhodes-like but the Wurlitzer has more 'bite' which becomes more evident as things progress.
Yeah definitely a Wurly in spite of what Brian May says. I've got both! There's also a celeste or glockenspiel on there too, which I think is why some people think it's a Rhodes due to the bell like quality
No, the Wurlitzer has only one tone, though obviously this can be altered with EQ or effects. It's a real glockenspiel (or maybe a celeste which is essentially a glockenspiel in a keyboard) which has been overdubbed. Curiously it's not mentioned on the sleeve notes!
Excellent find Mr Campellboy. Definitely a Wurlitzer without a shadow of a doubt, with a glockenspiel or celeste
not it
@@mario486waluigi2 wot?

@@nickhirst999 I don't doubt this a Wurlitzer, but since you have one, I'll ask; is this sound typical? Sounds to me like it's a bit overdriven.

there is no secret on every interview they said it was a........ Wurlitzer Electric Piano.
you're my best track
Ooh you're making me live...
Whatever this world can give to me....
Its you, Your all i see...
Wow, I always thought it was a Hohner Pianet. But it's obvious from listening to this that I was wrong. It's a Wurly.
Was the glockenspiel a setting on the piano ?
