So basically, every film or show Bill Murray has ever been a part in somehow fits into the PVCU. (Peter Venkman Cinematic Universe.) 😊 As a lifelong Ghostbusters diehard, who just discovered this channel, I have never clicked “Subscribe” so fast in my life while watching this. Thank you! (P.S. As a game designer/dev, please check out the new game “Ghostbusters:Spirits Unleashed” by IllFonic! They are a great group of people and fellow passionate GB fans, and the game is a lot of fun! Especially made for fans 🙂)

Very in-depth. Touches the soul of the character. So much of GB's strength was in the writing. Then the acting made it soar. You reminded me of some stuff. Few things I did not know. Excellent work!

Frank Welker has probably been cast in more cartoons than any other voice actor. Humans, animals, robots and alien creatures. He's done it all and then some. His most iconic role is Fred Jones in Scooby Doo Where Are you (1969). He continues to work adding to his vast list of voice acting credits.
The work you've put into this is amazing. I've not read the novelisation but you made me want to. It's surprising how much from the book, show, IWD comics and films fit together.

Could you talk about the proton pack that Phoebe finds in Ghostbusters Afterlife and what makes it different that the pack's we seen in GB 1 and 2
I wouldn't mind seeing a video about that subject. In my head cannon it was definitely upgraded. How else could it go to-to with Gozer in a Dragon Ball like power struggle alone

Lorenzo Music is the ONLY guy who could EVER play Venkman. He made Pete sound mature and witty. That other guy, Dave Coullier, made Pete sound like and idiot and dumb jock.

I completely agree with you. The "Mrs. Roger's Neighborhood" where Peter is possessed sounded more authentic with Lorenzo's acting.

The original video was copyright claimed and despite us counter it was all Fair Use, Sony never released it. So any monetization wasn't going to us. We took it as an opportunity to update a few videos with new information like Year One, Afterlife, and any other new nuggets we found. It also gave us a chance to fix mistakes, upgrade the audio/video.

1:28 I am pretty sure that the he's already dead line is in regards to slimer and not peter's grandfather for one bjg reason and that's the fact that the line is part of a completely different sentence. logically if what your saying is true the sentence should be worded as "everybody hated my grandfather and he's already dead" which would not make much sense as if you were going to say like that it would be normally worded as "everybody hated my grandfather and he's been dead for *x amount of time* "
