- Beautiful paper, shiny bows, a sparkling touch of tinsel, and perhaps a sprig of holly -- it sounds like we're wrapping presents! Santa's elves aren't the only ones who know their way around the good old gift wrap.

On the seventh day of Craftmas Dollightful gave to me, seven mini presents, six doll-sized scarfs, FIVE POM POM SNOWMEN, four wreath ornaments, three doll-sized trees, two snowflake garlands, and a doll-sized stocking for the hearth!

Pro-tip: use double-sided tape, that way you don't see the tape! Use tape that's 3 mm in width! 6 mm in case of bigger present.

I always love looking at tiny presents and mini boxes. Something about the inability to open them to see what's inside captivates my imagination 🤭I love thinking up ideas of what could be inside!

I think Dollightful has been watching those present wrapping tutorials that pop up every December
Another option to use as a base for the presents is little jewelry boxes (like a box that a ring or necklace would come in)! That’s what my grandparents did. They used to run a jewelry store, so they had a lot of those little boxes lying around, so they wrapped them and made them tiny decorative presents!
Now I have the stupid Idea to make over 100 miniboxes and put an entire Lego set brick by brick into the boxes to force my bother to open every gift to build the set. It would be especially sadistic.
So cute!!!! We still use single use but we reuse them: "Here's your gift! Now give me the bag/box back please.". Though we really don't do "presents" anymore. Especially since the kids are getting older. Now we get a few things from the dollar store (namely candy, cash, nail polish for the girls, etc.) and use a BUNCH of cling-wrap and tape to make a giant ball (the boys usually get a smaller ball since theirs is mainly cash and gift cards). They have fun and we get to watch them--on their own--race each other. It's nice because instead of a 5 minute demolish of paper, it's about 15-30 minute event. Anyway, I love this mini-series and excitedly await tomorrow's item.
omg, I wish this had been out sooner! My photo shoot had some mini presents I bought at the dollar store--would've loved more variety:)
It's funny how crafts my mom and I did when I was wonder are now making their way into the mainstream crafting community.
I now save and reuse every bit of tissue paper and gift bag I receive, never now when they'll come in handy for someone! not just Christmas, but birthday and general gift-giving!
The tiny wrapping of the box presents made me so happy, that's one of my favorite things to do, wrapping gifts!!!

I learned a technique for making little present boxes from recycling old Christmas cards. There's no glue involved and they actually function as little boxes you can open.
The red wrapping paper reminds me of lucky money, so pretty!
I was looking forward to this one! When I was a kid we have miniature presents that went on the tree as ornaments. But i would just open them all myself.

0:57 You would actually want to use crafting knife (like an Xacto knife) to create shallow cuts along the fold lines. Both creating indentations and cuts are known as scorching.

This is so cute cuz it would be easy to make since almost everyone is getting at least one gift bag or some sort of packaging this year but if not I saw a bag of different sized Christmas card stock at dollar tree I'm assuming it was leftover paper since some of it was so small lol
