    LOL The captions were funny. "Don't Call" 😄 It's not boring, it's real time & I can appreciate. No edits = truth. Even the fact that you left the front on the side. Real stuff that happens to real people.

    I ordered the EasyUp and Camping Cube a couple of years ago. I have everything...Tarp for under the cube, a Tarp and poles to make a porch area, a Folding Comode, XL Camp Cot and Foam Pad, Folding Table for my Camp Kitchen, Propane Stove,
    Lanterns, Kitchen Supplies etc...I just need a Cargo Carrier and Hitch for my little Hatchback as I don't have enough room in my car to fit my gear plus a Big Shaggy Dog !

      I had to giggle a little when I got your comment. I've been there. Yes it's a completely different form of camping and I wouldn't do it unless I was out for at least 4 days. I can manage to get it all in my Subaru Crosstrek but it's like a jigsaw puzzle.

      I've gone camping for years... usually with 2 or 3 dogs....I have a Ford Fiesta hatchback which is small and I guess my comfort level is Big...lol
      I also live in Florida right now and weather is like a Cesspool.....not for camping here....I would need to go north....

    Good job. I’m planning on going this route but would like at least 12 x 12. Appreciate the demo. I put up a 15 x 15 EasyUp by myself frequently and I know how difficult it can be.you handled it very well. Your cameraman is a lucky guy.

    Thank you for video. If you can do this, I can set it up being I’m disabled veteran, and can’t use my right arm. After I got my own tent setup. It took me less than hour to put up. All by myself and with one arm, your video help me. Camping is fun again.

    Thank you for this video. Liked and sub. You now gave me more confidence. Just got the same set of canopy and tent. Found your video while searching for a how-to video of this setup. Just retired early last year and wife and I are about to do some glamping. I'll check out your other videos for ideas. You made it looked easy...and on a windy day.
    If you did it with aplomb at your stature, I'm guessing my giant 5'6" frame will handle it just fine. 🤣

    Thank you for sharing this video. I enjoyed watching it. Did you use a 6.4 easy tent to attach to 10x10 canopy? I have a 10x10 canopy and I thought I had to have a 10x10 easy tent to attach it???

  • @thepandemicdiva3369
    @thepandemicdiva3369  Год назад

    Hello Chris. I can't imagine any amount of wind, excluding a tropical storm, picking my tent up. It could be the canopy wasn't an ABC Canopy which is much stronger than the ones EZ-UP sells. I also make sure I have long stakes to hold the canopy down and also use the ties if it will be windy. Sorry you had that experience.

    You can order the tent (EZ Cube 6.4, 10x10) on Amazon. I just noticed it is 22% off at $189. You have to oder the canopy separately. It's the ABC Canopy Straight side 10 x10. and is extremely sturdy. You can order other brands for a lot cheaper but they may not be as sturdy. Best of Luck!

    Hi! I am going to the Coachella music festival solo and I am thinking of copying your set up. I would want to hangout in the space during the day before the music sets start. People have said their tents turn into saunas once the desert sun comes out. My question is: have you used this set up in the desert? If so, do you think it will be okay to spend time in during the day or do you think the inside of it will be too hot to be in during the day? It’ll be about 100+ degrees Fahrenheit during the day.
    Thank you for your videos. They are super helpful!🙏🩷

    • @thepandemicdiva3369
      @thepandemicdiva3369  7 месяцев назад

      The closet I got to the dessert was August in Maine. It was sticky hot with all the humidity. I plugged in an air conditioner through the doggy door, but then again I had electricity. It was wonderfully cool. Any closed tent in the dessert sun is going to be a furnace. But I bet this one will be better than most. It is tall and vents at the very top (heat rises) and it has very large windows all around. But I bet it would be cooler with just the canopy and not with the tent, using the canopy for shade. But if you do put the tent up I suggest using a USB operated fan. Also I used a neck fan once when it was really hot and it kept me cool. Good luck!

    P.S.- I ordered the EZ CUBE 6.4 and a 10 x 10 ABC canopy without sides, so hopefully I ordered the right canopy, just minus the rain awning and sides. Looks like it is straight sided. Expected delivery later this week My best friend and I are looking forward to going camping and managing this set up ourselves. I'm definitely taking this demo with us! Did you order the Royal Blue or the Splash blue? We also may ask my husband to join us with our tear drop camper for our first camping attempt. Thanks again for sharing this video! ~ Diane

      Good morning Prudence-
      💦💦 raining/snowing /sleeting here in Central New Hampshire Lakes Region. My EZ Cube tent is still inside the box, but ready for better weather! I have a friend in Maine who may want to partner with me in hosting a few organic gardening workshops on her property. I have a teardrop camper, but would prefer throwing the EZ Cube/tarp/ cot/ etc in the back of the truck and driving up, minus the hassle of towing. The one thing I would like to buy is an outdoor carpet to set on top of the ground tarp.
      Here's to a summer! 😎⛺🔥🍔🍻

    Tell me something. Can the roof screen on the actual tent be closed? I can’t find any long enough looks at the tents roof. Early spring and fall can be pretty cold at night and also, I have asthma. I’m ok at night if I block all the screen area and run an air purifier

      I won't be able to take a first hand look until the end of May. But as I recall it might be possible to make a cover that would be held up by velcro tape. The cover would be a square of about 1 1/2 feet square. I recall thinking if it was really cold I would do something like that. You would still want some outlet in case of condensation but that could be opening a small part of the window cover. Contact me in May so I can remember to take a look and get back to you.

      Yes, well silly me, you printed ABC on your video. I see you have not filmed any more videos. Are you going to share what you are up to this summer? We are moving slow this year because of farm work. Just starting to open up the tear drop to de-winterize. With the volume of folks booking campground sites this year, we may well end up booking a tent site and using the cube tent for camping and not just a screen house! 🏊🌞 Happy Summer!

  • @asazad

    Question. Why do you need to put down a tarp if the tent already has a waterproof floor? I’m still a camping novice so please excuse me.

    • @thepandemicdiva3369
      @thepandemicdiva3369  2 года назад +1

      That's a very good question. I'm no expert and recently I've come to a different conclusion. The tarp basically protects the underside of the tent from anything that might puncture it. Also if the ground is already wet. I've learned that the tarp should not extend further than the tent footprint as if it rains water will collect in between the tent and the tarp. If I can edit my video I will add that. This particular tent has a strong floor so it may not be necessary. If anyone has another answer please chime in.

    • @monkeyb1820
      @monkeyb1820 2 года назад

      @@thepandemicdiva3369 your answer is correct. It provides a layer of protection from sticks, etc. And even though theoretically it's not supposed to stick out (due to the rain issue), I would place a huge wager that even if it doesn't stick out, and you get big storms, water will get underneath. So I don't think it's a huge deal if it sticks out. If it sticks out in front, it's a good spot to put a little floor mat for wiping off before going in.
