I come out in top in my divorce, I hunkered down, didn’t give up, paid the legal fees, and early on let my lawyer know all of the stupid shit I’d done from the day of my birth to my 37th year. So when they come at us with a high school aged vandalism case we were ready for it.
Our laws have so many gotchas in them it's ridiculous. I'm wondering if her lawyer put her up to that. Lawyers can deploy shady tactics to win a case. "Just push the right buttons and get him to explode"... A lot claim to know the law but unless you're working in law, I call cap because even they don't know everything. People have knowledge of law that directly affects them is more the case.

This is why an ironclad prenup is important. People say, oh no because you love each other, prenup sends the wrong message. When divorce happens, all that talk about love is thrown out the window and the level hatred shown (especially by the woman, because of all she stands to gain if it goes her way) cannot be imagined on days prior to the divorce. Prenup is the only thing closest to protection you will have on that day.

It depends the state, in my state you can’t record conversation and not have the other parties consent. It’s a good and a bad thing. One of my family members was trying to get a restraining order on another family member, she had recordings of that person threatening to kill and harm her, but couldn’t use it as evidence. But it’s also a good thing so that you want be manipulated or get your words twisted around out of context.

I think none of it matters because the judge can decide what is meaninful to them and make their decisions based on that. Here's a little story about some people I know. This couple was never married but they had three kids. Kids lived with mom simce birth amd relationship was always on/off. One day mom gets tired of kids and leaves them to dad. She wants only every other weekend and doesn't want to pay cs. So the judge gives her what she wants. Time passes and they are back in court be abuse dad is fighting to stop overnight visits with mom. And wants kids to see mom only during day hours. The reason is because mom is a drinker and regularly takes kids to parties whereen amd women get sloppy drunk. She even left the kids at one of these parties without the kids realizing it and they woke up in the middle of the night to a drunk felon beating up his gf. At court moms response to this was, "it was only one time and I didn't know that was going to happen". That was good enough for the judge amd dad's request to end overnight visits was denied. Proof/confessions don't mean a single thing when there is a garbage judge.
When will men stop simping themselves into marriage. Spread the word fellas. Teach your sons the nonsense of marriage. It offers nothing except financial devistation. There are plenty of men out there broken in half financially by divorce. Stay out of that misandrist institution. Keep your assets, income and sanity instead. This dude got lucky, 99% of you won't.

the problem with prenups is that they can just be declared void by a judge if they deem it "unfair", so it´s nothing more than glorified toilet paper.
