    I had pretty great prerelease pulls: the promo Xatu, some Earthen Vessels, a pair of holo Booster Energies, an Ultra Rare Maushold ex, and even an Iron Hands ex, just to name a few!
    But I completely missed out on Roaring Moon ex, which is what I was personally hoping to pull and saw was printed all over the event venue and Build and Battle boxes!
    Really hope I can get my hands on one soon! So looking forward to the official release!

    Paradox Rift is an absolutely nutty set and I'm glad it'll ber on the table during the european leg of the regionals season next year. Iron Hands AND Iron Bundle are so so good that I think it's going to be worth jamming them into almost any deck if you can... they'll make an impact for sure

    People keep losing their minds around a hypothetical turn 1 going second Iron Hands ex attack, but if you actually played Miraidon you’d know the chances of that are so unlikely. Also Miradon is not gonna start running double turbo just for Iron Hands. It lowers the electric energy count so your generators will hit even less and it has no use on other members of the deck because it makes their attacks hit just under that magic 220/230 (zapdos) for KOing basic V and Chien Pao. I see IH as a one of alternate mid game attacker that helps you keep the pressure on single prize decks (LZ). And you are also not gonna run Future Booster Capsule in Miraidon, it’s a brick on literally every other pokemon in the deck, so no Pidgeot and Lugia 3 prize KOs

    • @jish55
      @jish55 Год назад +2

      Not so good in Miraidon, but can be amazing in Chien Pao with how fast that deck not only finds energies, but slaps them onto mons. Because of Bax, you could essentially have IH up and running turn 2, and against lzb, lugia, and even gardivoir, it can really hit many decks hard and give pao players a much needed option against multiple decks chien pao has had a hard time dealing with.

      @@jish55yeah, exactly. I think that’s actually what they want us to do. Why else would you put three colourless energy in the attack cost??? You could even use the new Xatu if you wanted to. And there’s always the special energy that gives one rainbow energy, too. As long as all the other energies are basic. I can’t believe it only needs one specific energy type. 😔

      @karakaaa3371 Год назад +2

      Yeah it might be okay into lostbox but 4 energy is so expensive, you have no followup if it gets OHKO'd because you used two generators, Arven, and FSS.

    what i like about skelidrege ex and greedent vmax is even if you only get 1 ex in play you can use dte and still hit 70 damage, which is a key number.
    which means they have to rush to evolve or not play them down once you get set-up, or risk the boss.

    I think that aegislash ex should be among top 10 too, it would fit great in the dialga deck, especially since it can hit 220 for 2 energies and 280 or 350 depending whether you have 2 or only 1 prize card left.

    Hot take: Jirachi is kinda mid and hard to fit in your deck
    Hotter take: Iron Hands ex is kinda mid. Putting iron hands in your deck makes you better into lzb & situationally gardevoir, but way worse into mew vmax. It also makes your deck brick more

    • @TiMEbeatsNoW
      @TiMEbeatsNoW Год назад +3

      Not a chance. Getting more than one stage 2 is hard as it is even with pidgeot ex. You're probably going to get a skeledirge on turn 3/4 but charizard already does enough damage at that point.

    • @sumirsookdeo9443
      @sumirsookdeo9443 Год назад

      Rare candy at 4. Also you don't need both on the field to win. Charizard at 3 skeledirge at 2 seems fine.@@TiMEbeatsNoW

    • @TiMEbeatsNoW
      @TiMEbeatsNoW Год назад

      @sumirsookdeo9443 point being the times you have skeledirge online is when you don't need it. Then you're just wasting resources and deck space for a card that's redundant. Only time you want the extra 60 damage is when you're only hitting 180 or 210. But those times it's very hard to get both charizard and skeldirge in play.

  • @BryFo

    So with Professor Turo's Scenario. If a evolution such as Blastoise in play. Would it mean Blastoise would be discarded since the baseline is started from Squirtle or just cards such as energy, tools, would be discarded?
    BTW Toadscruel and Venomoth from 151 would make any player rage quit the game and just throw a path to the peak in there. LMAO

    • @TrustYourPilotTCG
      @TrustYourPilotTCG  Год назад +1

      Best explanation is from the Compendium. Basically, Pokemon in the evolution chain are not considered attached cards (PTCGL had this wrong for several months iirc):
      When Lost City stadium is in play and an evolved Pokemon is knocked out, does the Basic and all of its evolution cards go to the Lost Zone, or only the top evolution card goes into the Lost Zone and the rest of the Pokemon cards go to the discard pile?
      Yes, all of the Pokemon in the evolution chain go into the Lost Zone. All other cards are "attached" and are discarded.
