So I want to share my story cause maybe it could make it easier to get it off my shoulders. So I’ve been in band for about 2 years in middle school and I absolutely hate it. And for the instruments like a xylophone it’s $1000! So i’ve always been scared to tell them because I always think I will disappoint them and they will get mad at me and never look at me the same. It’s also been like the family tradition to be in band and for me it’s hard to be different like that especially with a lot of pressure. So I’m trying to build up the courage to tell them. And you were right, she wasn't upset or angry at all. She was sad and worried for me because I was dealing with this stressful situation! She was understanding and comforted me immediately!! A part of me just wants to be honest and say that the course I’m studying is not for me (or just school in general is not for me) . Ok so I accidentally dropped my phone (and I didn't have my case on at the moment) and the screen cracked..! I've broken too many devices in my life so I get terrified everytime it happens. I've been successfully hiding it all day and decided I'll tell my parents tomorrow. I'll say I slipped in lunch and slammed my phone into the ground when I fell 😃 idk I feel like they'll be less mad because I had my case on and I slipped!??! Not my fault 🙂
