- Shot with my Sony A6000 & 16-50mm kit lens. Luckily my window was fairly clean. After a fair amount of color correction, slight color grading and a bit of stablization, this is what I ended up with in 2.35:1 .
This is incredible and it is only going to get better over the next ten years
Stunning. Remarkable how much this city has grown!
Thanks!
Incredible. Had no idea T.O. looked so impressive.
When viewed from this perspective.. it certainly shows well.
Well information. Good show.
Wow. The waterfront is finally coming together. Btw, nice smooth camerwork. Great capture!
Thanks! Yes it does look pretty nice from that viewpoint.
I live in Toronto and I was impressed --an amazing city
Thanks! Maybe I'll get to see this view from a plane again one day.

The six!
Fantastic...
Thank you!
On approach from the east i can see 2 clumps of skyscrapers and mid-rises: 1 abiut 5 to 7 miles away and 1 about 10 to 15 miles away from downtown\midtown. Toronto. I think that the further one is the Scarboriugh CBD? What's the other Central Business District 5 to 7 miles NNE of the Toronto CBD?
That's Yonge and Eglinton and North York City Centre
Scarborough centre isn’t even that big. It’s also worth mentioning that it’s not in that direction.
STAY SAFE ALL CANADIANS
great video! though I have to say the lens that comes standard on those Sony mirrorless cameras is one of the worst I have ever come across... I would recommend upgrading to one of the Zeiss lenses that fits this range. you'll notice an incredible difference with sharpness and fine detail. anyways, thanks for sharing.
Thanks. I have 2 of the G Master lenses 70-200 & 24-70 as well as the zeiss 16-35 for my A7sii but I also like the portability of the a6000 with the kit lens for short travel trips.
oh, very nice... and yes, I understand your desire for portability completely. my girlfriend has the A5000 with same kit lens. she/we took it to Europe last fall for it's first real test. we were extremely disappointed with the image quality, especially when viewing images at full size. we have been trying to decide between the 2 lenses you mentioned or one of the Zeiss lenses that is available. the 2 you have are very good but still dont match the Zeiss in side by side comparison for image quality and of course none of them offer the compact size of the kit lens. personally I have been using a SONY RX10 with 24-200 Zeiss lens for the past 3 years. even though the sensor in this camera is only the 1" format I am getting the best image quality of any camera I have ever owned, which includes 3 previous Sony dslr's. good to know that you are enjoying that great quality with your A7sii... cheers!
I'm extremely happy so far with both G Master lenses for video. The focus ring is very responsive and image quality is great. The 16-35 zeiss is also really nice.. I use it a lot with the zhiyun crane. I switched over from nikon 2 years ago and haven't looked back.
Hi someone know what its price for one flight, I wish flight
Love Toronto but most of the buildings all look the same. Could have taken notes from chicago
IN LAND MASS TORONTO AS A CITY IS NUMBER 1
It's called Toronto downtown not Toronto city center, you got that from Mississauga city Center
Also have Scarborough City Centre & North York City Centre.
Downtown term came from NYC, as they had Downtown, Midtown & Uptown. Down-town being south, Up-town meaning North, & mid-town meaning the middle. Downtown became a banking financial hub, & other cities in USA & Canada took the term downtown as a financial hub to admire to. Parts of the Toronto area however refer to City Centre instead of the term downtown. Toronto technically also has midtown & uptown, but the terms arent used much , unlike in NYC. Some suburbs of Toronto also have used Downtown & Uptown terms, like in Oakville, however everyone might know downtown Oakville, but not necessary know that there is also a Uptown area, because the lake is South, Toronto & some surrounding towns built there original hubs near the lake. Quebec in french also seem to use Centre rather then downtown, like Centre-Ville de Montreal.
Most of USA & Canada would call the hub of the city as downtown, but not all. Downtown wouldn't be a term used in other countries, England for example use City Centre.
what a congested mess ffs.
