This guitar is awesome. I love mine. I own the exact same one, color and all. But I just ordered some Guyker locking tuners (black), as the stock Jackson tuners are jumpy and sometimes come out of tune, even without divebombing. I know you insist a $200 guitar is not worth upgrading it too much, but I think it is a great idea. You can make the guitar the way you want it. It is a decent foundation. I will be adding some Seymour Duncans soon along with new pots. Your guitar looks great! Thanks for sharing your experience! Keep on rocking!
I have the 32Q love it..dime bucker in bridge, blocked trem, kill switch in tone control, polished frets, neck is as flat as a slab of slate.Feels like a 1200 jackson from the 90s in my hand now.
Awesome man. I could not find the neck illusions like the one you have. Do you have a link for that one. It looks awesome. I forgot links dont work here. Let me know what page its on. Thanks
Did you get a slotted nut that fit or did you have to use a blank and slot it yourself? Which part #? I have a JS32Q DKAHT and the plastic nut is garbage. I found a slotted that is really close in length but I am not sure on spacing. Going with Graphtech Ratio locking tuners on mine. Yours turned out nice!👍🏻
Those DR colored strings are straight garbage. You're right, they're just a gimmick. They dont sound very good compared to something like an XL nickel-wound string, and they dont last very long. The black colored outer layer starts to wear off almost immediately and looks really ugly when they are half black and half silver. Another issue is that you have to be pretty close to the guitar & have good lighting to even see the colored strings. So not even the people in the front row will notice them. The black just looks like shadows onscuring your strings. Trust me. I wasted tons of money on those back in the day. I was never happy with how quickly the color fades. I havent bought any since i was like 13 lol. I switched to D'ddario XL and never looked back. Theyre worth the few extra dollars. They sound incredible.
I’m a new Jackson fan! This one I particularly like and the price is just unbelievable 😍
Yeah you can find them for as cheap as 150$ sometimes even one hundred dollars for a decent used one. Definitely worth the money for what it is.

Men these customization are cool
Were the new tuners exact fit? No new drilling? Great job!!!
Nice job bro that thing looks badass now lol :)
The J.S.22 is a good mood platform.
Nice Jackson brother 💯🎸
I would of added that on off switch to the back plate
@19:35 yes, yes you do!
A custom nut is so cheap, and it makes more of a difference on a guitar (especially a cheap one) than anything else! :)
🤣🤣🤣

My luthier always uses Graphtech blanks and cuts them custom to the guitar. Cheap and perfect! Rock on \m/
Great mods, thanks for the video! What strap is that?
I searched "skull strap" on ebay and got one for like $10. Just a cheap strap!
How did you retire the stock inlays?. Nice guitar.
How did you get rid of the sharkfin inlays? Guitar looks awesome.
Neck Illusions. Check em out!
Hi,may i know what Pickup mounting ring is that, flat or curved.

Nice, what string gauge did you use?
Those are 10-46 Ernie Ball. I put that gauge on almost every electric I have unless it needs to serve a specific purpose like drop C or something.
Best strings on the planet man!@@nofrillsnoskillsguitar365
