Hey Jeff great video thanks! Unfortunately that part of BC is pretty rough right now after fires this summer and now severe flooding. One of my personal fav canadian trucking coys is Arnold Brothers who frequently run routes through interior BC. Cheers!
Funny thing about Merrit currently. It’s not even a town anymore. Completely flooded and mudslides washed it all out. Hope is just on the other side of the mountain and is in the same predicament. Abbotsford is almost lost too
They did an amazing job with the skin on here. Living in New Brunswick I obviously see these guys all the time and if they would’ve had room to take in another local chip hauler I probably would’ve joined their team.
TFI International, Canadian National Transportation, Mullen Group, Day & Ross, Trimac, Bison Transport, TransX Group Of Companies, Canada Cartage, Challenger Motor Freight, Armour Transport, GFL Environmental, Groupe Robert, Manitoulin Transport, Purolator, Titanium Transportation Group, Rosedale Group, Speedy Transport, NRT, Arrow Transportation Systems, Penske Logistics, XTL Transport, VersaCold, KTL Transport, Light Speed Logistics, DCT Chambers Trucking, TransPro Freight Systems. It's so crazy how realistic the stop lights are, even including the turn arrow. Now if only promods expanded to Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Regina that would be sick!
Loving Promods Canada at the moment, as someone that used to live on Highway 99. A Canadian trucking company I like is Van-Kam. You can find a skin for them on the Steam workshop. They do a lot of work in BC, plus the name makes sense for the map
Merritt and Abbotsford are flooded right now and its a pretty significant disaster for BC which hasn't really had this level of flooding before, with many of the highways into the interior being put out of commission. hopefully we can dry out and rebuild soon.
My girl lives in Calgary Alberta Canada and she always talks about Banff National Park. I seen pictures and videos of it.. that place is so beautiful so if you're ever up in that area and you're doing a free drive, you should check it out.. I have a feeling that you and the family who watch would absolutely love it
Those wood chip trailers are pretty unique with a triple axle or quadruple & working at a sawmill seeing those go up on a platform being dumped out is kinda cool to watch haha.
Nice chill video as always Jeff! Hope you enjoyed the update, always good to have you do a video on ProMods Canada! AI on that dirt road was a lot higher due to that traffic mod I'd assume. You gave yourself an extra challenge haha. Also as a side note, we don't really see any money from the paid download service as the $1 is for the download bandwidth. If you do want to support us please consider donating, it really helps.
Thanks for your honesty regarding NASCAR 21 Ignition. No playing it speaks volume. I'm glad you got the chance to speak to them, and gave them honest feedback like you eluded to during this video. It's such a shame the condition they released that game in.
Current Merritt has been evacuated, the Coquihalla Highway (HWY 5) is closed with severe damage, Trans Canada (HWY 1) heavily damaged thru out the Fraser Canyon, in the Abbotsford area its closed and under several feet of water, Highway 3 single lane traffic. Hwy 7 single lane traffic in several spots, Highway 99 closed due to slide. Plus travel restrictions put in personal non essential travel. BC is hurting.
merritt is flooded out right now and lots of parts of that area are washed out coquihalla highway has big chunks missing too BC is in a state of emergency
Love the Canada pack and Promods overall....I used their previous Canada pack and it was amazing!!!! Use them for ETS2 as well.....so so good!!! Thanks for the preview!!!
LOL in Cache Creek that McDonalds in the game on the right side is actually a Dairy Queen. Its a well known DQ to travelers and is ALWAYS busy especially in summer.
I'm really impressed with this - those mountains at 30:58 are like nothing ive ever seen in base Truck Sim! I hope the Montana DLC will bring this level of spectacle with moutnains, and maybe even actual snow, though i'm not holding my breath after seeing those screenshots.
Love the pro mods Canada map! Here in Ontario we have Gibson, Little Rock Farm, Armstrong Trucking and Challenger to name a few. I’d love to see them do every state and every province eventually. Loving the content!
Played ProMods Canada for 2-3 hours now, I never got to try the 1.0.0 so I'm all new to it - it looks fantastic and feels very, very good! My only complaint would be it seems kinda difficult to get jobs from BC to BC, almost all towns offer only jobs to the US side so I have to cross the border all the time. Otherwise, it's great.
Midland, Armour and RST which are sister canadian companies to sunbury all owned by same guy. Logan Express from Quebec and REM Transport a Flatbed and Dryvan company out of New Brunswicck. I see all these companies. I live in Maine about 20 mins from New Brunswick border, this was a cool video seeing someone use a chipvan and sunbury!
Great video Jeff love to mod's and everything you put into your videos and you are right merit is a beautiful place currently flooded right now but great video stay safe and take care
Yes I’m from Manitoba and we have we those signs too the prépare to stop and flashing lights are real like that if they are flashing before you hit the sign start slowing down because it’s telling you the traffic light is going to be red when approaching intersection if you’d at the sign keep going
Cool video. One trucking company that runs that area is called Arrow transport. They run bright yellow cabs and B train chip trailers almost exclusively.
Freightliner actually are normally Detroit power but can be optioned with a Cummins, is model Cascadia I'm pretty sure would be an some model of Detroit after the 60 series, like the DD series, ISX in the early years and X15, they used to use Mercedes Benz motors but I'm not sure if they do anymore , no paccars here lol , keep on truckin Jeff! Love the vids!
Yeah British Columbia is going through hell & back, use to live there between 2012-2014 and it's totally a awful change right now.. As you mentioned what Canadian Trucking Companies, there's a load of companies from where I'm from we have locals such as Bison Trucking, Teams Transport, Penner International, Trans X, G2 Logistics, Len Dubois Trucking. I mean we have a slew of companies that are all over canada but what I've given are considered Manitobas top 10 companies with Safety, timing & lots of other factors to look into! Happy holidays to you & your family and hope for a safe December & The new year!
That’s a possum belly chip trailer. You’re supposed to load chips or sawdust from that dumper. They don’t haul palletized loads. The top is a tarp that rolls to open/close. And they’re unloaded by backing onto a tipper that unloads it for you.
great video! funny how in the US and Canada like to use high HP engines, above 450 hp, for 20 tons, in the US, and few climbs, here in Mexico, we go, the 98% of the times, with a 450/455 hp engines for hauling 52-60 tons with double trailers and considering that must of our country is high above the sea level!
PM Canada had some interesting timing, I'm stuck in Chilliwack rn from the crazy flooding in Abby and highway washouts elsewhere. Sure wish you could truck us in some goods about now, Jeff! xD
Hey Jeff, hope you and your family are doing well. I was wondering if you can do some ATS videos where you do like a build and drive with whatever truck you like (e.g. Kenworth W900 "Highway Killer", Peterbilt 352 Cabover, Mack R Series, Freightliner Cascadia Legacy Sleeper, etc) because that seems fun imo. Maybe even start a new series on the channel? Let me know what you think of the idea. Have a great weekend. Take care! :)
I Live in canada, actually the vancouver area, some of the trucking companies I see are: Bison transport CN Canadian freightways Canada Cartage And actually it's a state of emergency here in B.C. because of flooding
Incredibly well done map given that this is a freeware mod. I would hope to assume this was more then a one-man job of a project surrounding British Columbia.
I’ve been up towards the US/Canada border a few times hauling cabbage 🥬 “Cowboy style lol 18 speed 98 international”. Tim Hortons everywhere in Newfane, NY. 15 miles from border.
Jeff I love your ats videos. Just wanna say my company has three trucks that are stick. Two day cab and one sleeper. And you wouldn’t expect it because they’re company trucks. Just saying you never know.
Have you seen the devastation from the SW B.C. and the Coquihalla Hwy? They had a lot of rain up there and washed out parts of the highway. Flooded in Merritt.
I'm a few day's late but I'm ready to enjoy some fresh ats content I got all four of my cavities fixed and I got my orange juice oatmeal and a muffin !
The gravel road that you’re on looks relatively tame in comparison to the so-called “death road” in that 1:1 Colombia map you made a video on who knows how long ago.
Another amazing video Jeff! I really have enjoyed this series since the very beginning! Looking at your Mod Hub, I'm having a hard-time figuring out why I'm randomly crashing in places like California/Nevada. I can complete a job, and then crash during the middle of another, or quite close to my destination. In my Mod Hub, I go: Physics/Realism Mods -> Trucks -> Skins -> Engines & Sound Packs Is this the incorrect order? All these updates past 1.40 are making life quite difficult at the moment, and your help would be appreciated!
I would like to see Canadian gas stations like Husky, Esso, Petro Canada.
Hey Jeff great video thanks! Unfortunately that part of BC is pretty rough right now after fires this summer and now severe flooding. One of my personal fav canadian trucking coys is Arnold Brothers who frequently run routes through interior BC. Cheers!

I just drove past the pulp mill and saw a few of these - was surprised to see one on my YT home page!
I live in that area in British Columbia and drove all those roads before promods did a fantastic job on replicating those routes Amazing.
And now all of them are under water
Hey Jeff, thanks for the ongoing Trucksim content. Hope you and your wife have a wonderful weekend and stay safe. Love from Germany ❤
I think you'll be happy to know Zeemods made a FreightLiner Interior Effects Pack
Canada pro mods is pretty good looking so far!
TFI International, Canadian National Transportation, Mullen Group, Day & Ross, Trimac, Bison Transport, TransX Group Of Companies, Canada Cartage, Challenger Motor Freight, Armour Transport, GFL Environmental, Groupe Robert, Manitoulin Transport, Purolator, Titanium Transportation Group, Rosedale Group, Speedy Transport, NRT, Arrow Transportation Systems, Penske Logistics, XTL Transport, VersaCold, KTL Transport, Light Speed Logistics, DCT Chambers Trucking, TransPro Freight Systems.

Bison is Canadian swift lol
Jeff: “You gonna let me out?”
Also Jeff: Covering the entire lane with his truck
Zeemods has the best sounds for sure Jeff. Couldn’t agree more.
Thanks for using my skin combo Jeff! It was really cool to check RUclips and see it on the front page. I really appreciate it, and glad you liked it
I am SUPER stoked to see Alaska! I hope you can do a video on it soon! Love the video Jeff. As always.

It’s a cool truck skin I live near Saint John and see those trucks on the highway all the time

Yep, time will tell how they handle the patches
Current Merritt has been evacuated, the Coquihalla Highway (HWY 5) is closed with severe damage, Trans Canada (HWY 1) heavily damaged thru out the Fraser Canyon, in the Abbotsford area its closed and under several feet of water, Highway 3 single lane traffic. LOL in Cache Creek that McDonalds in the game on the right side is actually a Dairy Queen. Its a well known DQ to travelers and is ALWAYS busy especially in summer.
Really wish scs would add the deer crossings to the actual game
I'm really impressed with this - those mountains at 30:58 are like nothing ive ever seen in base Truck Sim! I hope the Montana DLC will bring this level of spectacle with moutnains, and maybe even actual snow, though i'm not holding my breath after seeing those screenshots.

Living in the Maritimes, I see these trucks going all the time.
Wow. I am so stunned by the beauty and the details in this map. Love it.
Played ProMods Canada for 2-3 hours now, I never got to try the 1.0.0 so I'm all new to it - it looks fantastic and feels very, very good! Pretty cool! Sunbury HQ is in my hometown Saint John, NB. Nice to see it in your video!
Yes truck simulator love these videos
Bought this game a month ago and just started to play it the last few days. Loving it.
The new Update is really nice, especially those 4X4 roads (yellow truck icon.)
His isx EGR sound mod also sounds phenomenal 😍 I've purchased a ton of his sound mods, and I'll continue to do so 😉
45:28 😂 Jeff's reaction to seeing deer. As if he's never seen them ever before.
Im about to work for them when im done my cdl licence!
Yes I’m from Manitoba and we have we those signs too the prépare to stop and flashing lights are real like that if they are flashing before you hit the sign start slowing down because it’s telling you the traffic light is going to be red when approaching intersection if you’d at the sign keep going
I drive for them, the frame on the day cabs are longer and they have a full length upright stack. Plus the transmissions are 18 speeds
Cool video. One trucking company that runs that area is called Arrow transport. They run bright yellow cabs and B train chip trailers almost exclusively.

I know for a few videos of FS19 with Pickle do you have any plans on do any FS22
freightliner doesnt use paccar 11:30 and bison is a Canadian mega carrier you can use
I said CFI which drives the T680s. They use the X15 and the Paccar engines.
I been waiting for this video!

Sadly Merritt is currently underwater from major flooding in right now Vancouver is cutoff from the rest of Canada which sucks
Hey Jeff live your videos I'm playing right now ☺️!
Hey Jeff, hope you and your family are doing well. Incredibly well done map given that this is a freeware mod. I would hope to assume this was more then a one-man job of a project surrounding British Columbia.
Good video jeff

The gravel road that you’re on looks relatively tame in comparison to the so-called “death road” in that 1:1 Colombia map you made a video on who knows how long ago.
This would be a super cool map to take the RV or pickup truck out and explore.
Good video Jeff nice looking truck as well

Hot tip, kenworth and Peterbilt are the only brands to use paccar freightliner uses Detroit and cummins
Hello from Alberta :) one of the transport companies I see a lot is Bison! nice video
I really like the nascar vids. is there a N:21 ignition video planned? would love to see another one.

Robert has cool trucks midland, keystone, western western logistics, Bruce R Smith 👌
Also Challenger, Armour is a Canadian company, there's a skin packs on steam
Happy Early Thanksgiving Jeff another excellent video bud
Keep up on the good work!!!!
I think that big “thud” you might’ve heard might be either the trailer or the truck bottoming out because there was a pothole somewhere
What a truck amazing
Also another big company in the BC/Alberta area is called Arrow
Great video! love ATS
I like the trailer, it tells alot! It is where I live...Not Canada of course, but it is where I live XD
There is a Canadian trucking company called bison and it is a Manitoba provincial based one
