Cool. Bin vom 15.3.25-21-3.25 auf Mahe, dann Bird Island. Vielleicht sieht man sich ja am Takamaka, oder Police bay?! Wohne zwar in Beau Vallon, aber zum Fischen immer im Süden. See you
VG vom Starnberger See
Your videos of fishing in Seychelles has got me do excited for my upcoming trip in December, I honestly didn't realize that there was such great potential from fishing off the rocks, could you please share with me your favorite spots? I would be very grateful 🙏 thanks Karl
Hi Karl! I mainly fished off the rocks south of Anse Intendance and south of Anse Takamaka. Look for deeper water on Google maps or earth, bring some jigs and sinking stickbaits and you won't be disappointed. 😊 There are more spots with deeper water on the west side of the island. Take care if there is a big swell. 😉 Good luck! Josef
Hiii! Love the video, we managed to find the spot when we were there in earlier this year. Didn’t catch anything so was wondering if you could help with what type of lure’s you’re using? Any recommendations for when we go again in May?
Hi! I used jigs like the Savage Gear Needlejig (80-100g) and sinking stickbaits. The FCL Labo CSP 145S caught me lots of fish and also the Jack Fin Pelagus 165S. Most of my fish I caught in the early morning at or before sunrise. But I think I was pretty lucky. When I was on Mahè the sea was full of millions of sardines. That happens sometimes and than everything is near shore to eat. I think you can always catch fish from shore but it may be much harder.
@@dominiqueriley4517 No I do not think the colour is a big factor when the bite is on. I use natural colours most of the time. Also pink and "zebra glow" works really good sometimes, especially in low light conditions.
I mainly did shore jigging, casting with a PE4 setup (80 -100 lb leader). I used sinking stickbaits around 150mm and jigs between 70 and 120g. I had some poppers with me but the sea was to rough most of the time to use them. I think they would catch too in the right situation. I dont think that it really matters which lure you use. In my opinion it is much more important to be at the right place at the right time. Try to find water as deep as possible and go fishing at the first light of the day or at sunset. That was absolutely the most productive time of the day. Never the less my favorite lures have been: FCL Labo CSP 145S, Jack Fin Pelagus 165S, Tackle House Britt Cbp 145S, Savage Gear Needle jig, Major Craft Jigpara vertical long slow...
Hi, really cool video man! I love this island, I've been in Seychelles in 2012, but unfortunately I was 10yo and I still didn't have a true passion for fishing. I'd love to go there again one day with my shore jigging equipment! I have a yt fishing channel as well, it's called Sea Hookers, we fish in the med from the rocks, if you want to take a look I'd appreciate it!!

PS: The rocks are pretty slippery. Wearing just some old socks will give you the best grip! 😎
Thanks so much for the reply and advice, I really appreciate it 👌🙏😊

Last question, what colour lures would you recommend? Is it a big factor or not really?
