      you can acheive different looks by playing with the settings to replicate 35 or 70

      Some things you can mess with in the powergrade is the amount of blur and grain structure. Larger film stocks have more resolution (less blur) and finer grain. Although it's easier to replicate 16mm and 35mm film stocks because most cameras used in the consumer market are either MFT, S35, or FF. To get the true aesthetic of 70mm would be a little more difficult seeing how it basically twice the size of FF

      You can use it in the free version but you will need to disable the Denoise and Grain nodes because those are limited to the full version. There are free alternatives for grain like using overlays/mattes

    can these be used in FCPX with lut utility? i dont know how to use davinci.

      You can fit the grade to the color space of your camera and customize for the look you want, then export the powergrade as a LUT for use in other software, but the LUT will only store the color response, not textural features like grain and halation.

      If I remember correctly the project was shot on Alexa & BMPCC. For the lenses, I don’t know, you’ll have to ask the DP, Griffin Voth.

      Your project settings should be Davinci YRGB color science, Rec.709 Gamma 2.4

      Everything works in the free version with the exception of the Denoise and the grain nodes which are limited to the studio version, but you can disable them and everything else works. There are free alternatives for grain like using overlays or mattes

      The halation works in the free version. It’s a custom node tree, not the effect built into resolve
