Wow. If you ever wish to improve on this you might go more Miyazaki, as in My Friend Totoro; or, go a bit more Spielberg, you got the music going well; or, make light self into a character. Some combination of these.

also, knowing every reason why I shouldn't be scared doesn't stop me from being scared
being afraid is a good thing, being scared is not
It's weird, but I have fear of dark only periodically, idk how long periods they are, so far I remember having 2 periods where I was scared that something MIGHT get me
I still feel uneasy in dark, especially when standing or sitting or generally being in vertical position...
Someone is watching, but who and why and when? The Answer is different for everyone...
