While his body had broken down and he could no longer do what we all were used to, the Broncos don't win Super Bowl 50 without Peyton Manning. Yes, the defense had a spectacular run in the playoffs, but they weren't that good during the regular season. Furthermore, with Brock Osweiler as the starter, Denver was about to slip to the 5th seed, and there's no way they run through the playoffs with him. Manning may not have been getting 300 yards and 3+ TD's anymore, but his brain was still perfectly healthy. He was still putting the Broncos offense into the right plays that sustained drives enough to either end in points or flip the field, while also giving that defense plenty of time to rest. He needed only to be a game manager for that run, and that's what he did. He could still make a lot of the throws (as we saw on that last drive to end the 1st quarter), but it probably caused him a lot of pain. Also, Denver's offensive line was TERRIBLE at this stage, and for whatever reason, guys were dropping passes like crazy. 8 in this game!

No it's a bad call. A 32-yard pass is a lot lower percentage play to complete than a short yardage pass or a run. Plus, you're trying to let a 32-yard pass play develop against what was the best pass rush in the league that season. That is one of the reasons it was underthrown because Ben was pressured. Take the higher percentage play.
@@Xhoven i watched all of this match on this video , a top ranked d is a top ranked d , there's no telling what plays work , it was nearly a touchdown , let it go .
It's kind of fitting to think that Peyton Manning's final games prior to the Super Bowl were against three longtime AFC rivals: Philip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger, and Tom Brady. All victories en route to one of the biggest Super Bowl upsets ever. Granted, it was nowhere near Nameth's guarantee or Eli's Helmet Catch. And betting lines were vastly inferior to those of Wide Right, Toss Power Trap, or Adam Vinitierri's kick. But still, what a year that was.
@@drakebudasz8837 Peyton Manning didn't do jack shit his last year in the nfl. Also, the Steelers didn't have Antonio Brown for this playoff game and were down to their 3rd string running back not to mention Ben was playing injured. Broncos were lucky to win this game.
If the Steelers weren’t on their third string RB, had AB, and Ben with a full shoulder they win this game by 20. It’s wild how bad they got banged up down the stretch and into the first playoff game.

@@ryanwhipple7645 I wouldn't say Pittsburgh necessarily whipped Denver earlier that season. They had to come back from 14 down to win that one and only won by 7. Denver had Brock Osweiller starting that game and we all know he isn't very good.
Or the Broncos got Lucky... Ben with a bum shoulder, no AB, no Bell, no Williams, etc. The Broncos got their butts kicked by Pittsburghs backups and 3rd stringers.

After losing to Andrew Luck and his old team, the Colts, the previous year, Peyton Manning bests Ben Roethlisberger in this AFC Divisional game for the Broncos!!!
Von Miller doing his best DeSean Jackson impression dropping the ball the celebrating a TD at the end of the game after the 4th down fumble that didn't count.
Emmanuel Sanders was the true hero of the game for the Broncos, breaking up a sure fire INT from Manning late in the 4th quarter. Peyton nearly blew it again.

Michael Bozeman yes, it was a fumble return for a touchdown.
1:38:34, start of the 4th quarter, who farted?
The Steelers chances.
That was Phil Simms, no joke.

This was a good game.
At 1:51:38 Demarcus Ware read the wrong play. He thought pass when it was a run and luckily for him as a player the ball that was stripped came right back to him. Now that's lucky if you are a player.
That's cool
Peyton Manning if you hear this I'm your biggest fan I love you man if you know Peyton Manning you're my favorite quarterback in the world I love to get an autograph from you and meet you you're a hell of a person and a hell of a quarterback and a hell of a role model you were my football hero
Hopefully one day u meet him.
Looking for superbowl 33 full game??
At 17:30 when Pittsburgh went for the 4th and 1 I thought throwing the ball 32 yards when you only needed one yard was an awful play call.
Of course it was, we still got Tomlin.
We call that Tomlin outsmarting himself.
no it was a perfectly good call but the ball was slightly underthrown
No it's a bad call. A 32-yard pass is a lot lower percentage play to complete than a short yardage pass or a run. Plus, you're trying to let a 32-yard pass play develop against what was the best pass rush in the league that season. That is one of the reasons it was underthrown because Ben was pressured. Take the higher percentage play.
@@Xhoven i watched all of this match on this video , a top ranked d is a top ranked d , there's no telling what plays work , it was nearly a touchdown , let it go .
Had that been a perfect thrown to weaton that may have been a touchdown. 😤😤
2:11:45 that crowd reaction is a combination of cincinnati and denver crowd #ThankYouBroncos

Without googling it I don’t recall last time Steelers beat Denver. Go Broncos!
Rich Moore in the just the playoffs or you mean regular season as well
They beat them that same season this playoff game was played. Either you're fukin stupid or a bandwagon
@@drakebudasz8837 Peyton Manning didn't do jack shit his last year in the nfl. Also, the Steelers didn't have Antonio Brown for this playoff game and were down to their 3rd string running back not to mention Ben was playing injured. Broncos were lucky to win this game.
The Steelers beat them week 15 this same season, they even talk about it many times during this game lol
Prior to the game in this video, Steelers beat Denver in 2015 in the regular season. Steelers just beat Denver last week in week 2 of 2020.
If the Steelers weren’t on their third string RB, had AB, and Ben with a full shoulder they win this game by 20. It’s wild how bad they got banged up down the stretch and into the first playoff game.
Nah, they still lose.
We’ll never know but I think you’re kidding yourself. The Steelers controlled most of this game without two of their top players and Ben barely being able to suit up. Earlier that season they whipped Denver’s ass at Heinz field as well with a healthy roster
@@ryanwhipple7645 I wouldn't say Pittsburgh necessarily whipped Denver earlier that season. They had to come back from 14 down to win that one and only won by 7. Denver had Brock Osweiller starting that game and we all know he isn't very good.
If if if , if the seahawks didnt run the ball they probably beat the patriots and there’s plenty more examples
would you happen to have 2015 Steelers @ Seahawks?! I'd LOVE to watch that again!
Oooooh good suggestion, that game was a battle!
🚨 Spoiler Ahead 🚨
Seahawks had that monster 4th quarter right? Ya that game was a great game.
Sucks Pittsburgh didn’t have bell and brown this game. Although they would’ve lost as usual to New England anyways
CJ Anderson was a workhorse in this game.

- from a Steeler Fan
I highly doubt that
DaMoorez it’s a fair observation. They were inside the 40 and seemed to be driving with all intents to score and possibly put it away
Or the Broncos got
Lucky... Ben with a bum shoulder, no AB, no Bell, no Williams, etc. The Broncos got their butts kicked by Pittsburghs backups and 3rd stringers.
This loss still stings 😩😩
If Jeremy hill hadn't fumbled cinci would have knocke the stealers out and ben would have been home watching internet porn.
Steelers nearly pulled it out if it wasn’t for the damn Fumble but got to give credit to the Broncos. It was a Great Game by Both Teams and Both Quarterbacks. Plus its sad how far the Broncos have fallen since Peyton retired😢😢😢😢
Steelers 4th string RB loses it with a fumble. This team was decimated by injuries.
We can't really use the injury excuse we were still good enough to win and we didn't.
There’s injuries every season, you can put an asterisk on every superbowl run ever
Wow Mile High looks special for a big game!
PEYTON MANNING IS THE GOAT
As a Steeler fan fer 45 years, I felt that the ONLY way to NOT have the Patroits get to the Superbowl (again) was the Broncos. Payton, the General, the thinking quarterback, shit, THE G.O.A.T. , my first pick at Q.B. fer my ALL TIME team. Not blessed with blazzing speed or a real cannon fer an arm, but, damn, what a student-teacher of the game.
Sobering thought; that ENTIRE Denver offense is no longer with the team and only three starters from the defense remain.
This game will forever haunt me
:ontaze Burfict made it possible for the Broncos to win. Burfict knocked out Antonio Brown the week before this game. Concussion protocol. Thanks Vontaze, we appreciated you helping us out with your dirty hits.
U mean the refs. Because the bengals should've won that game if it wasn't for the refs. How Joey porter wasn't fined is beyond me
@@ShinefortheCamand if Hill didnt fumble
We have to remember that manning was not elite in this season. It’s important to have a full roster of players makers.
Forgot how close this game was, haven't seen it as many times as week 15 Broncos steelers I uploaded condensed.
Look how much less flags are thrown. Holding on every play and no one gives a shit how it should be
So great! Thanks so much. Do you happen to have the 2015 AFC Championship Game Broncos vs Patriots?
1:51:40 Roby fucking PUNCHES 🤜 🏈 that goddamn ball outta that boy’s hands
These must've been the same refs that were in this year's superbowl, cause they called a BS PI call in the broncos that was totally uncatchable
The refs tend to see a lot of penalties that benefits the Stealers and the Cheatriots while they don't see those that benefit their opponents.
Steelers has this in their hands and they let it go.
Fitzgerald Toussaint had it in his and let it go lol. 1:51:40

Peyton pulled out to early 😂
Yes he did ...
He was 40?
Good thing the Steelers’ D fell apart in the 4th quarter like they usually do, or New England would have 7 right now.....
hzachuckful hahaha look at your broncos now😂😂
Diego Arellano look at your steelers 😂 drew lock mite be better then big bens trash ass
Diego Arellano hahaha We beat you guys. We were on 2018 Rebuild and still beat you lol.
Diego Arellano hahaha you guys lost
Diego Arellano 24-17
Man...this defense was built different
Allowed an opening drive touchdown, and didn’t allow another one all game
We need a broncos steelers rivaly
You can see Shaz's poor tackling technique with his head first on that goal line stand in the 4thQ.
All 60 Pits fans disliked this one lol
Still not over that fumble
