The Chiefs look to even the score after having their undefeated streak snapped in Denver, as they host Peyton and the unstoppable Broncos offense in a battle of 9-2 teams in KC.
2013 Peyton Manning was on another level that season. The offense was putting up madden numbers. Even though the broncos got killed by the Legion of Boom. I miss prime jamaal charles. He was fun to watch.

Great game! The NFL needs to rid of these ridiculous five-yard penalties (Defensive Holding, Illegal Use of Hands, Illegal Contact) when the runner gains more than 5 yards on a first/second/third/fourth and five play. It's not needed.
It's fun to see the old Andy Reid offense; with Doug Pederson as OCO! I believe experienced NFL coaches who transformed their Xs and Os by seeing how college systems put up bonkers #s doing things NFL wasn't is THE most important development. NFL was tactically BORING for so long, I'm old I remember dull games of stuffed runs and passing only on 3rd and 8. 'Nobody plays defense anymore!' - Shaddap grandpa. Embrace change in sports; even when your favorite team is in the dumps, do you love football or just love whining about it?
The two games against the Chiefs this year were how the Super Bowl should have gone for Denver. The Kansas City defense had an even better defensive front than Seattle, equally talented linebackers and defensive backs (minus poor Cooper), and ran the EXACT SAME SCHEME. The would shift all over the place, not react to Manning's signals, and played crazy tight, physical press coverage at the line against the receivers. For those who don't think KC's defense was as good as Seattle's: you don't belong in an intelligent conversation about the subject. The only reason KC fell behind Seattle in total defensive statistics was because they had to play San Diego and Denver twice, both teams with huge offenses. Furthermore, KC's offense had more weapons than Seattle's, so they were able to keep pace. The reason Denver was able to do what they did in both games is because they took what the defense gave them, even if it meant going 3-and-out early, or even turning it over a couple times when taking risks. But the sheer volume of plays tired out KC's defense until suddenly they couldn't stop them anymore. I have it on good (and I mean VERY good) authority that the Super Bowl was fixed (as most have been in the modern era to ensure no one looks better than Brady in the debate for the GOAT discussion, which Manning would get if he were permitted to play like his normal self and win even 3 rings), which is why Manning and the Broncos showed no sense of urgency when they got behind, and he stood back while the defense won Super Bowl 50 for him. Otherwise, the results would have looked an awful lot like these two games with KC. You replay that game 10 times without any shenanigans, and it ends with Denver winning a good 8 out of 10.
