The only reason to get this charger is if you have a Razer 2 since their coil position don't work with a lot of wireless chargers due to the position, caused by the RGB logo. We've have Samsung, Chaotek and plenty of other brands scattered around the office. FOr my iPhone XS Max, it only works sideways on this wireless charger. There's zero reasons to get this unless you want to fit your chroma setup (controlled by the phone) or have a Razer 2.
Vortez no your wrong, the stickers are worth 20 bucks but the chroma is only 40 bucks. The charger itself is about 12 dollars, but the razer tax is a hefty 28 bucks.
If i had had that wireless charger i would have put it below me middle monitor and the phone vertically on it. While im editing or gaming or whatever it is i like listening to podcasts or watching yt vids, so having it charging all the time its amazing

I have the Razer 2 phone and it is amazing! If you have the Razer 2 phone then this charger will compliment your phone perfectly.
I have the same problem. What I did was position it behind the mouse pad to let the mouse pad act as the bottom bumper to keep it from sliding. Then you pull the charger forward as if you were going to lay it flat but keep it propped up.
Darn when I saw the thumbnail I was so sure I'd end up buying this too but nvm. I ain't charging my phone vertically or flat. Thank you, next...Razer/Lian Li O11 PC case please come out. xD

Techblcok, you should buy a pop socket for your phone and then have the pop socket all it to hang on the charger in order allow that extra inch for the coil to reach at the angle that you prefer... I hope you read this.
good job on this video of unboxing and simple testing but try to get a usb voltage meter i can suggest getting "USB color display tester , model: UM34C" that i own for around last 3 months and i've found it very interesting to check all of my cables/chargers/power banks with the devices i use like my galaxy note 9, note 10.1 2014 edition ablet and few other portable bluetooth devices with built in batteries. I've found out how much energy is my Samsung wireless charger (EP-NG930) spending when in stand-by mode which i never took into consideration before, but after that i started to plug it out from my wall-charger. I've also found out how much energy is each of my wall-chargers and power-banks providing to the wireless charger while it's in use with note 9 and many other combinations with different devices and energy sources. I've found out that my wall charger provided in the box with the note 9. Also the original cable is very good for working with my devices on fast chargebut now i'm waiting for new (4th powerbank, 1st was 6000 mAh, 2nd 20000 mAh, 3rd 10000 mAh and this one is 20000mAh but rated for 12000mAh so it's going to be not so big in terms of max energy capacity, however it should make it worth that flaw with having a color lcd screen with real-time readings of voltage and amperage used tocharge the port described on the screen, but also it should have a energy level tracking so it'll show how much energy it has charged inside, just like my 20000mAh powerbank i have but that one doesn't measure and show energy output on the screen. It also has 2xusb ports for charging , 1 is 2,1A and other 1Aand one micro usb for charging powerbank. The new one has also 2x usb ports but also usb-c and micro-usb but usb-c has 18W or 30W PD capability, and usb ports also have around 18W (5v/3A; 9V1,67A and 12V/1,5A) so i'm going to try it out on my note with a hope for faster charge. I also bought 2 cables with it, usb-c to usb-c , one 5A of max energy charge and other with 3A max. So please try to get a voltage meter and include the readings in next tests, it shows if the razer wireless charger is crap or not. I'd rather learn that than what i've listened to in the video. tbh you have a great point and owning a 1st gen razer phone is expensive as replacement cables aren't cheap but it kinda says on the box "For Razer phone 2"
The Razer Phone 2's wireless coil is set in the bottom half of the phone, so their wireless charger has to be shorter to match up with the coils on the phone. I don't like wireless chargers, but if i had to get one for my RP2, i would have to get this one as there isn't any suitable substitutes on the market.
I use a generic wireless charger for my razer phone. I have to use it as the type c died. It's not my daily driver anymore so I don't mind but so you know. Any wireless charger can work. I do have to place it slightly angled but that's no issue.

The wireless charger does not work while the iPhone is upright is because the Razer Phone 2’s wireless coil is at the bottom of the phone and IPhone’s wireless coil is probably on the top side

when you put the phone on the charger can you hear the fan in the charger kick in pretty loud? I have had mine for about 6 weeks and it does my head in. I have spoken with about 4 different Razer agents that tried to tell me this is normal but I am sure I have defect product. If you are in a room with background noise like a TV, its not so bad and you cant hear it, but if you were to have it next to you on your bedside table when you are trying to sleep, it would be well annoying. When the charger is idle, it doesn't do it, but as soon as you put your phone on you can hear it

As they aren't good daily phones as mine is good for me as I mainly watch videos play games and listen to music however they can be very uncomfortable don't get me wrong I absolutely love me phone it looks so bad ass when it's out of the case but it's got issues and if you want a flawless phone it's not for you even if you're a razer fan
