5. Prevention: Practicing safe sex by using condoms correctly and consistently can greatly reduce the risk of contracting and spreading Chlamydia. Regular STI testing is also essential, especially for sexually active individuals or those with multiple partners.
6. Screening: Regular screening for Chlamydia is recommended, especially for sexually active individuals under the age of 25, those with new or multiple sexual partners, and pregnant women. Early detection and treatment can help prevent the spread of the infection and its potential complications.
7. Partner Notification: If you're diagnosed with Chlamydia, it's important to notify your sexual partners so that they can also be tested and, if necessary, receive treatment. This helps prevent further transmission of the infection.

Iv had this since 1999 I had exploratory surgery to find this out they found out what bug it was and I was told by the gynaecologist that the only medication that will bring this down the inflammation pain is tetracycline to m not sure why they refuse to give this I don’t get it and when I was on this antibiotics I was as on high levels 3 time a day it’s very painful it’s been years for me and I also had 2 children

I treated chlamydia the first time with doxycycline and it was very effective. Now I had unprotected sex with the same person and was reinfected. This time doxycycline is no longer effective. Pls what do I do?

@@animefighterofficial7687 did u wait 7 days after u we’re done with the treatment? If not, it’s recommended to wait a week after ur done with ur treatment bc u can still contract it again
