I really love what they did to EX Kyo in this one, they managed to keep his ridiculously long combos from the NESTS Saga while making it adapt to the KOF XI mechanics. I usually pick him over regular Kyo because in exchange of not having his ground projectiles, he gets better options and a launcher that has good range and can dodge certain attacks (hcb + LK), not to mention a super that comes from one of his rekkas that allows him to extend combos even further.

differences are: 1. Kyo has fireballs and rekkas simultaneously, EX-Kyo doesn't have fireballs 2. EX-Kyo has a super that can extend combos (done as Wicked Chew II ender) while Kyo doesn't 3. EX-Kyo's LDM works kinda like Ash's in that he can do combos that are only possible after using the LDM 4. Kyo gameplay-wise leans more on being a battery, meanwhile EX-Kyo can be flexible since u can also choose to make him the anchor and have another battery instead (at the cost of less explosive damage).

One of the reasons for the lack of completeness of KOF 13 would have been that it was consistent and original if the tag battle system improved from 11. 3. EXKyo has the most diverse route combo in the history of the series. 4. I hope this will be reproduced 灼焉 especially in KOF 15.

Aww man I remember kof xi in the arcade and being able to beat Shion and thought man he’s tough but magaki pissed me off so bad I couldn’t beat him I got the game I usually play on level 3 difficulty could never beat magaki 🤬so I played on beginner level and STILL 😡lost to magaki but I tried and tried and tried and FINALLY BEAT HIM and beat him the next day in single player mode with Mai Shiranui 😭🤣😂
Kyo es mi favorito de kof, Me gusta kyo nest pero con los movimientos del kof 99, desde el 2000 en adelante fallaron es desaparecer esos 2 golpes que lo hacian ver mas original y unico , para mejorarlo debieron estar los 4 movimientos los del 99 y 2000 .
