From the team behind Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, the new film similarly puts a horror spin on a classic children's story character as a result of the rights entering the public domain. the upcoming horror comedy movie Peter Pan: Neverland Nightmare.
"I am taking inspiration from French cinema while in prep for this movie," Jeffrey said. "The film will be incredibly tense following Wendy as she tries to track down her brother, Michael, who has been abducted by Peter Pan. I would say it’s a mesh between Switchblade Romance and The Black Phone with our own spin on it. It is a nasty, violent and incredibly dark movie. Tinkerbell is not what you think. In our version she is hooked on heroin and convinced it’s Pixie Dust.”

@@giuseppeianniello1998 I just came back from seeing it and I couldn't disagree more.
The lighting in the new movie is practically nonexistent to the point where you can't even see most of the kills. The editing is still shit, the creature designs still suck, and they keep having characters spew loads and loads of forgettable exposition instead of showing more carnage. This one may have had a bigger budget, but it's not even enjoyably bad like the first one was. It's just boring bad.

@@reedspace8267 I personally wouldn't be surprised if they don't nominate it for three reasons despite it being the second most widely hated movie of the year so far.
      1. If they didn't nominate stuff like Artemis Fowl and Home Sweet Home Alone, they probably won't nominate that.
      2. The hate seems to be mostly coming from people who were kids when the first film came out and had an attachment towards it. The people who run the Razzies, as well as people who make generic WatchMojo tier articles about the worst movies of the year, aren't in that group, so they're less likely to be offended by it. They're more likely to go "that movie fron years ago is still a thing?" Don't get me wrong, I love the real Megamind movie. But I don't deny it.
      3. It seemed like that type of movie that only gets hate for a month or weekend, and then is never heard from again.

If that ends up happening, I see it as more likely that something similar to what happened in 2016 with Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad will happen, both films were made by DC and were part of the same universe and both were nominated for multiple categories in that year's razzies, but only Batman V Superman managed to enter the category of worst picture while Suicide Squad stayed in secondary categories (although I personally think that Suicide Squad deserved to be nominated for worst picture more than Batman V Superman), if Kraven ends up being garbage I see it likely that this event will be repeated with Madame Web and Kraven, with only one of these films being nominated for worst picture while the other is only nominated in secondary categories, if I had to bet I would say Kraven would be the one that would be left out of worst picture, since even if the movie ends up stinking, I don't think it can end up being worse than Madame Web.

Honestly, I don’t know why they decided to make Pooh and Piglet the villains in Blood & Honey, as I feel that was the #1 reason the horror direction failed. If it was up to me, I`d have made the experience a survival horror game taking inspiration from The Quarry, Dark Pictures Anthology and the Forbidden Siren games of the PS2 era.
In the game, this evil supernatural force takes over the 100 Acre Woods and the playable cast (Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Rabbit, Kanga, Roo, Owl and Eeyore (the other forest characters are mentioned to have gone somewhere else at the time)) have to escape to Christopher Robins house, which is easier said than done as otherworldly monsters with the desire to kill are roaming everywhere and the evil force is artificially shifting the land (separating the group several times in the story and making them travel to familiar and new areas (such as an old bunker setting full of traps or this swamp where something below the murky waters is stalking the characters traversing rickety piers)) in a bid to make the cast easier to pick off one by one.
Like the Supermassive games, you can have social interactions that build or break group bonds, collect items that can impact scenes or even save a life and find premonitions (in this games case, they are old and empty honey pots) that forecast potential future events.
    3 examples-
Pool: Kanga is in a deep pool full of dirty water trying to fend off a foe that’s trying to smash her head in with an old sledgehammer and/or drown her. As she struggles to keep the monster at bay, the camera cuts above to a sparking electric cable that looks like it`ll fall into the water at any second.
Explosion: Rabbit, Piglet, Eeyore and Pooh are shown frantically trying to climb a steep tree covered hill to escape a horde of monsters chasing them. As one monster is making progress ahead of the pack and closing in on Piglet, Rabbit notes this and frantically reaches into a laptop bag he`s wearing. He pulls out a homemade grenade and is seen getting ready to aim as Piglet screams for help.
(Spoiler: Where the grenade lands via QTE prompt can result in Piglet and/or the nearby monster getting blown up)
Riffle: A winged creature is shown flinging Tigger through an old stone wall. As Tigger sits up and tries to immediately recover, he quickly spots a skeleton of a dead human hiker clutching a riffle and frantically crawls to it as the winged creature lands next to the hole and starts to climb in to carry out a kill.
Finally, I picture the finale to be a bit of an extended shout out of House of Ashes ending: Christopher Robin is introduced as the surprise 9th playable character (with him returning from college and planning to visit his old animal friends being the main change from the movie I`d keep) and is unaware of the evil entity in the nearby forest until any surviving characters arrive (minimum being 2 and maximum 8) with the evil force behind them engulfing the town (which is what quickly gets outside help to come over later). Christopher and the survivors barricade themselves in the Robin household (Christopher revealed to be home alone prior during the start of his house exploring segment that briefly plays like Life is Strange) and then try to ward off any monsters that come in at various areas in the house (like one scene where Piglet and Roo try to take down an axe wielding foe that breaks into the basement, another where Owl and Eeyore fend off winged demonic creatures in the attic and another where 2-4 characters use guns to mow down a group of enemies entering through the front door in a shout out to a season 1 scene from Telltales Walking Dead).
The amount of survivors, optional items found and group bonds affect the way the finale plays out:
-Fewer survivors conveniently block some scenes (such as the basement being blocked by debris if Piglet and Roo died earlier) or extend others with more QTEs (such as Christopher and another character fighting off a big and strong creature the animals encountered earlier).
-An example of relations factoring into survival could play out, as Owl and Eeyore having a poor relationship could cause one to abandon the other if the right QTEs are missed, as they latch the attic door shut while their friend is ripped apart behind them (whereas a better bond would have had Owl/Eeyore go back and try to save their friend in one final quick opportunity before the slaughter kill can happen).
-Items collected affect fight scenes. One scene in the woods can have Rabbit find a railroad rail and use it to fight a foe in the kitchen should he make it to the final chapter. If the rail wasn`t collected, Rabbit faces more QTE`s using household objects instead. Rail or no rail, it’s worth noting Rabbit can get killed by the foe beating him to death with a wooden chair if enough QTEs are failed.
At the end of the fight, a shadowy government organization that seems to pay homage to the SCP foundation shows up and saves the town by easily killing off the creatures with unknown weapons. Who survived affects the ending:
Worst (0 survivors)- The shadow agency finds Christopher, Pooh and the others corpses in the house and now normal woods and makes note of them and how they died similar to House of Ashes worst ending. An agent mentions Christopher’s body will soon be released to his next of kin (just like the other human fatalities from the town) while the others are to be quietly moved to a secret base to be dissected and further studied.
Best (All 9 lived)- Before the shadow agency arrives Pooh and his friends flee back to the now normal woods at Christopher’s insistence (as he and the town survivors get rounded up for evacuation/questioning). A one-year time skip shows the animals still traumatized but making progress in recovery via their own personal support group. Christopher arrives unexpectedly and after a talk (revealing a big government cover-up took place in regards to the town, alongside info on the source of the evil only he seems to recall) the animals invite Christopher to join their current therapy talk session, with the last scene oddly coming closest to the tone of the original source material as the nine discuss their emotions.

For next year we already have several contenders to take home the "worst picture" award, including Madame Web, Argylle and perhaps we will have our second animated movie nominated for worst picture of the year since the Emoji Movie in 2017 with Megamind vs the Doom Syndicate, which now has 0% approval on Rotten Tomatoes and fans of the first movie already want to forget it and pretend it never existed (although I have my doubts if it will make the list of nominees).

In August 2023, a statement by John J.B. Wilson and Maureen "Mo" Murphy announced that the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation was considering the possibility of setting a new precedent by awarding Walt Disney Studios the Barry L. Bumstead Award to an entire studio for the first time ever (and not just an individual theatrical film).[9] This is due to Disney's centennial anniversary releases (ex. Peter Pan & Wendy, Elemental, Wish, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, The Little Mermaid, Haunted Mansion, The Marvels, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, etc.) causing "the once phenomenally profitable Walt Disney Pictures [to suffer] failure after failure at the box office"[9][10] when "corporate honchos had hoped to spend th[e] entire year celebrating a century of success".[9] Ultimately the award was not presented.

2023 gave us gems like The Flash, Knights of the zodiac, The Little mermaid and Mordo from Quantumania

I hate to be cynical, but 2024 has more Razzie-worthy films than Oscar-worthy ones. Madame Webb, Imaginary, Megamind vs The Doom Syndicate, Sandy Cheeks, Borderlands, Mouse Trap, The Crow, Joker 2, Kung Fu Panda 4, Rebel Moon, Harold and The Purple Crayon, Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey 2, etc.

Next year should be interesting, aside Madame Web, the big ones are
Miller's Girl - the disgusting film on heavy subject matter that easily deserves a Worst Picture nom and Screenplay
Megamind VS The Doom Syndicate - one of the lowest animated films rated and disappointed fans everywhere hoping for a good sequel to a beloved DreamWorks classic

I'm so happy to see that Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey has gotten its due at the razzies, I'm not lying when I say that I feel like this movie makes Disney's live action remakes look like masterpieces (okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a little with the last thing I said, but that movie is still the worst).

For the most part I agree with the nominees, except Shazam!: Fury of the Gods in worst picture, although it is true that it does'nt compare to the first film, it does'nt seem to me to be a film so horrendous as to be among films like Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, Exp4ndables or The Exorcist: Believer, in my opinion Ghosted is the one that should have been instead of the sequel of Shazam, or if you wanted a superhero movie in the category of worst picture Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was much worse for me.

Madame Web received negative reviews from critics,[93][94] who panned it as an "embarrassing mess"[95][96][97] and the "worst comic book movie" yet.[98] On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 13% of 211 critics' reviews are positive, with an average rating of 3.4/10. The website's consensus reads: "Madame Web's earnest approach to the title character's origin story has a certain appeal, but its predictable plot and uneven execution make for a forgettable superhero adventure."[99]
The review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes reported an approval rating of 62% with an average score of 5.9/10, based on 350 reviews. The website's critical consensus reads, "Funny, refreshingly brief, and elevated by the chemistry of its three leads, The Marvels is easy to enjoy in the moment despite its cluttered story and jumbled tonal shifts."[135]
Closest to Daredevil film- Ant-Man and The Wasp :Quantumania- The review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes reported an approval rating of 46% with an average rating of 5.5/10, based on 410 reviews. The site's critics consensus reads: "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania mostly lacks the spark of fun that elevated earlier adventures, but Jonathan Majors' Kang is a thrilling villain poised to alter the course of the MCU."
Closest to Inhumans- Secret Invasion- The review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes reported an approval rating of 53%, with an average score of 6.1/10, based on 197 reviews. The site's critic's consensus states: "A well-deserved showcase for Samuel L. Jackson, Secret Invasion steadies itself after a somewhat slow start by taking the MCU in a darker, more mature direction."
The Marvel Razzies-1-Morbius-On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has an approval rating of 15% based on 283 reviews, with an average rating of 3.8/10. The website's critics consensus reads, "Cursed with uninspired effects, rote performances, and a borderline nonsensical story, this dreary mess is a vein [sic] attempt to make Morbius happen."[112] It ranks as the 16th worst-reviewed superhero movie on the site.
2-Daredevil film-On review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes 43% of critics gave the film positive feedback, based on 228 reviews, with an average rating of 5.2/10. The critical consensus reads, "While Ben Affleck fits the role and the story is sporadically interesting, Daredevil is ultimately a dull, brooding origin story that fails to bring anything new to the genre."
3-Howard The Duck-Howard the Duck received mainly negative reviews from critics. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has an approval rating of 13%, based on 83 reviews, with an average rating of 3.8/10, making it the lowest-rated Lucasfilm production. The site's consensus states: "While it has its moments, Howard the Duck suffers from an uneven tone and mediocre performances."
Worst of Marvel-Fant4stic-On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 9% of 263 critics' reviews are positive, with an average rating of 3.6/10. The website's consensus reads: "Dull and downbeat, this Fantastic Four proves a woefully misguided attempt to translate a classic comic series without the humor, joy, or colorful thrills that made it great."[1] As of 2023, it the lowest-rated film on Rotten Tomatoes out of all theatrical films based on Marvel Comics properties.
The WORST of MCU-Inhumans-The review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes reported an 11% approval rating, with an average rating of 3.70/10 based on 47 reviews. The website's consensus states, "Marvel's Inhumans sets a new low standard for the MCU with an unimaginative narrative, dull design work, weak characters, and disengaging soapy melodrama."Reviewing the season, Matt Liparota of Destructoid concluded, "Inhumans is a work with almost nothing of value for anyone. It's not even an interesting train wreck. It's just a boring, lifeless slog easily shooting to the top of the list of the worst things the MCU has produced in its near-decade of existence."
On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 49% of 258 critics' reviews are positive, with an average rating of 5.6/10. The website's consensus reads: "More unfocused and less satisfying than its predecessor, Shazam! Fury of the Gods still retains almost enough of the source material's silly charm to save the day."[76]
The DC Razzies- Catwoman-On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has an approval rating of 8% based on 197 reviews, with an average rating of 3.2/10. The site's critical consensus reads: "Halle Berry is the lone bright spot, but even she can't save this laughable action thriller".
BvS-On review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes the film has an approval rating of 29% based on 439 reviews and an average rating of 5/10. The website's critical consensus reads: "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice smothers a potentially powerful story - and some of America's most iconic superheroes - in a grim whirlwind of effects-driven action."
